I have a Corolla 2007 Gli, Recently, i have changed its engine to Axio's R1NZ FE with the stock Gearbox of the car C150 5-speed manual. The problem I'm facing is that the engine rpm at 100 kph is slightly high at the motorway, i.e, which is due to its Final drive ratio. Iam Planning to upgrade the gearbox to 6speed, C60 or C64 transmission, with lower final drive ratios and extra 6th taller gear. Need suggestions from experts that what kind of changes i would require to do the swap. And also please any expert knows that in the 2012 Corolla altis 6 speed manual, its gearbox is c64 or not? or which 6speed gearbox comes from the factory in this altis 2012 manual?
