Recently I got my coolant changed, not changed actually, the radiator pipe got leaked from near the cap of radiator by mistake from mechanic and all previous coolant drained off, I had the leaking pipe repaired and mechanic put some water in radiator and afterwards Guards red coolant in coolant bottle, in GLI 2011.
After some use, I started having smell/odor in cabin like something is burning while using heater or even if AC/heater is off. A bit of smell keeps coming. I had it checked, the fan blower and its motor are fine, no smell from it and motor is fine as well.
Is it low quality coolant smell from heating cores? What should I do? Replace the coolant with some good quality coolant(for example?) or what?
Please advise.
