Corolla GLi 2012 (e140-2nzfe) Engine Swap

Salam. Im new to the forum but i own a 2012 Toyota Corolla GLi (the facelift model) which i absolutely love and adore and plan on keeping for a long time. After putting almost 300,000km on the original engine (2nzfe) i have started to notice a drop in performance and which is expected. Ive also gotten pretty fed up with the manual transmission since i mostly commute during busy hours and lahore traffic favours no one much less someone who drives a manual. So what i wanna know is whether or not i can swap the manual transmission on my 1300cc 2nzfe with an automatic and what changes would it require in terms of wiring and ecu and stuff and roughly how much it should cost. Secondly if i go towards swapping the engine what would be a good option that would fit bolt on and not give me trouble in terms of compatibility. I dont have my hopes high but any positive suggestion would be appreciated and no i do not plan on selling the car. JazakAllah

Waleykum As Salam,
If you wish to retain original engine as per car documents then go for original engine overhaul and just swap Automatic transmission(Check transmission model and upgrade respective ECU for performance)
Otherwise you can swap complete engine with automatic transmission and allied ecu in 1NZ-FE category for perfect power combination

please do not panic.

You may overhaul the engine with oem new parts. swap only ECU & Transmission.
Visit Faisal in Lines area for such job. Make sure that you know what he is offering as solution - and how much amount he will be adjusting for manual transmission, the clutch pedal.

remember ECU for auto transmission is differen then manual transmission vehicle and wiring need to be configured for shifting. keep discussion open here for input.
