Corolla GLI 2017 with Immobilizer

Aoa everyone, I have just bought a new Toyota Corolla GLI 2017 which has immobilizer pre installed in it. I wanted to know how safe is the immobilizer against the theft. Do i need to get a tracker installed in my car? And should I go for insurance? If yes, which is the best company for Insurance and Tracker?

well frankly speaking dont knw how much effective is this immobilizer thing against theft................
Toyota dealership recommended me insurance & tracker but i wasnt interested as m going to change my ride as soon as facelift will get launch
anyhow

IMC,Honda Atlas & Pak Suzuki have contract with TPL insurance & Tracker
they recommends it
so i think u should go with TPL
rest is ur choice

Go with either Adamjee or Jubilee. Period. Heard good reviews about Askari too. Baqi sab fraud hain. Claim processing me they create a lot of headache for the customer.

why need tracker if it really has immobilizer and it really works.

Civic swift wagonr owner does not go for tracker bcz they trust on immobilizer their cars have.

you must opt for accidental insurance.
If car with immobilizer get started by tampering with ignition wires then you must sue the IMC

Go for full comprehensive insurance. Askari is good with reasonable rates. If insurance company insists, then go for tracker else insurance is sufficient

Just go for full insurance coverage without tracker. Had an excellent experience with IGI and insured my second vehicle with them as well.

Dont go for TPL. Thet are fruad. A big theif in car insurance market! Im one of the victim. Their tracker is useless. Trust me!

to check your cars immobilzer if its in working condition, sit in the car and lock the car with the remote. wait 5 minutes then open the door you will hear car horn in max volume and indicators blinking, means immobilzer come into effects.

Insurance works in the scenario of snatching of vehicle. Immobilizer won't help then. Tracker is useless IMO too.
