Corolla GLI Auto 2020 Alloy Rims

Hi guys. I bought gli auto 2020 in February. Planning to install Altis style rims in the existing euro star tyres. Getting the 15” rims for around 35k in karachi. Is it worth it ? And secondly, do 15” rims genuinely look good? Also, what is the impact on the drive, considering its already a slightly underpowered car. If anybody has already done, pls post a picture for reference. Thanks

Get jdm rims only..acoid Chinese crap plz. Get 16 inches as road grip will be better at the cost of heaviness

Since urs is also from feb would u like to tell if ur boot closing is fine?
Mine doesn't close quite a lot of times.
Will claim in warranty soon.

Yes it is an issue. But in my case the boot closes fine just requires a little more pressure. Whats your take on the rims. Does it affect the drive or make it feel more underpowered?

If you want to get 15s. Alot of better options. If u want OEM rims upgrade to 16" the OEM design 15" looks tiny.

Nope mine are 15s so never felt underpowered
Plus i installed yokohamas so comfort is even better than stock setup.
Yes they looked smol in the beginning to me, but but now used to them. The price difference bw the 15s and 16s is visible if parked together.
I guess u can get 16s for 45 to 50k.
Plus u want to install in ur stock Eurostars so is 16 an option?

Nope. For 16” Ill have to install 16 tyres. Which in total is about 70-75k expense considering that I exchange my current tyres. So not worth it. But i really want to change the Wheel caps. They look terrible lol. I actually want to change to altis 1.6 auto but the delivery time is too long

Bhai simply go for OEM Toyota 15" alloy wheels from Toyota dealer ship the old Altis shape rims.

OEM rims are best they look good and dont affect your car suspension.

These chinese copy of Toyota Altis 16" oem rims in 15 " have pathetic quality althoug they look to be of good quality buy even after wheel balancing they vibrate above 140kmp/h.

And if you passes from rough pathes of GT road having these chinese copy rim you will feel awkward type of vibration and noise in steering wheel even if you are using high quality tyres like advan db v552 with it.

No awkward vibrations on gt road
Just vibrations on high speed that too are very minor i hope wheel balancing will sort them out
But if you can go for oem always a better choice..

Never go for a replica or aftermarket rims. They are not strong and can also break. Only get branded or oem rims. Check this video where replica rims for Mercedes also break on impact. A rim breaking at high speed is a fatal recipe

True..always avoid Chinese rims..no matter how fancy they look

One thing I'd like to add, most claimed Chinese rims are actually made in pakistan.
