Corolla GLI auto-locking remote?

Hello everyone. My remote apparently doesn't work properly and I was advised to change the remote. However, I have 2012 gli limited edition which came with original remote which allows auto-locking as well.

Is it recommended to change it? How much would it cost from Lahore?

Any shops you could recommend. Would really appreciate it

Question is, is the issue with the remote buttons or the hardware circuit board. If it's the buttons, you can get a replacement key fob. Else, you'll have to programme the new key

Change the KEY'S BATTERY
only issue that cause it to not work properly !!

I didn't mention the battery replacement assuming the guy who suggested him to change the key would have done so. But again, its very much possible the issue could just be the batteries and those were overlooked

It's not immobilized so it isn't going to cause starting issue,
It probably doesn't need a replacement key they're just trying to RIP HIM OFF
