Remove the yellow wire and after confirming that both ends of that red wires are properly attached start the car and turn on the ac at full speed.. plz have strict eye on the temp gauge. if fan doesnit start then the problem is somewhere else

Its clearly written on the denso part that it is the 'computer cooling fan' and also the pkdm has one fan not two fans that u mentioned in ur previous post

Can u plz cnfrm that the black wire is having positive or negative current when ignition is turned on?

@ab6666 i have not tried removing the yellow wire which is tapped in the red wires yet will do in half an hour because my brother took the car somewhere he will come shortly then i will try. Which wire should i check for positive or negative current? The one which is tapped in from fuse box or the thick black one on the grip itself.

Ok so the car came back early I wated for it to cooldown and when i removed the wire turned the ignition to on the fan started to run and i didnt have a multimeter on hand so just checked with a 12v bulb and it didnt glow.

I have beenb through similar problem. The picture shared by curiousdevil where there is joint resembles my case.

With the help of one PW Mr Usman, who pushed me hard telephonically & after 1 week of trouble shooting, i was able to solve the problem.

Since 2009 to date, all corolla have similar setup of fan. Not only corolla but its standardized.

Salam brother was away from pakwheels forum. I was going through the thread and saw this thread of mine. Indeed you were correct this was exactly the fault. An electrician in national market rawalpindi diagnosed the same, he took the ecu out opened it and did something for like 2 minutes at max and after plugged everything. The fan was fixed and started running on auto mode.
