AOa pakwheelers, my corolla gli 2011 model ive facing something like underpower,, ek dam se asy lgta ha race dene pe smjhyn beth c jati hai but does the job never fails but its sort of irritating,, can you people guide me about it is this normal 1.3 corolla thing or should i go for some maintenance??? p/s im more of honda lover not much experince about corolla so guide me lads,,thank you.. @Xulfiqar

No such known issue in gli 2011, since its an old car could be some maintenance issue, better take it to the service center... could be something minor like a dirty accelerator sensor or some major issue like clutch etc.

Bro changed all the lubricants,, even flushed the engine with liquimoly now using quartz 9000,, plugs are new and fine..

sir i think to extent you might be right,, i did experince some irregularities with clutch but one of my friends just checked and said ke tumy honda ke adat ha to just feel hura you know honda honda ha type mentality..

If its a slipping clutch i think u notice.
Just check for rpm, and if rpm shoots on suddenly pressing the accelerator but car doesn't move as fast, then ur clutch just slipped.

clutch is not slipping, actually accelrator ek dum lgta ha jse beth sa gya ha i hope you getting my point,about clutch i feel ke smooth shifting nhn krta gear ke sath .

Then go to a good mechanic, thorougly investigate, start from obd 2 live data, look for lean or rich condition, then find the responsible part for this condition. If u cant find anyone, buy an elm327 and start looking by ur self.
Your run of the mill, road side, gutka chewing mechanic would tell u to replace a lort of parts without investigating.

also check if there is any vacuum leak. check if the rubber pipe connecting air filter box and throttle body is secured and not having any leaks.
