Corolla GLi suspension issue

I recently replaced the struts of Corolla Gli 2013. The car is not performing smooth. It does not have that much body roll while cornering(improved after changing struts) but while going over the rough patches each pothole or bump can be felt. Car a bit shaky on normal uneven roads or on rough patches as well.

New struts are of AgriAutos.

I hope I described the issue clearly.

What could be the actual problem?

What tyres r u running,condition,tyre pressure u keep?Tbh 10th generation has really good suspension.U need to check rubber bushings of suspension components and check for play in them and play in the steering wheel.U can get it checked by mechanic.Mention ur city so that members can suggest good workshops for work.Btw did u changed all four struts,how much were they.And they were brand new or used one?

Tyres are yokohama advan dB, stock size on 30psi and condition is good as well. Changed all of 4 shocks with new one(Agri autos) and costed around 27k.

I am not sure about rubber bushings, there is no suspension sound for now. One thing I have noticed is that I can press the front fender or back with minimal pressure(to check the bounce). Don't know if that's the way new shocks are?

I live near RWP/ISB.

And no I haven't used any spacers.

Are you on stock rims or aftermarket ones?
Are your springs original?

I am the second owner of car, bought it around 2019. Yes its on stock rims and spring are original as well. I'm not sure if previous owner had changed those. But previous shocks were original so we can assume the other things are original as well.

got the same brand shocks for my 88 corolla and I also feel that they are a bit stiff.

agri auto shocks are hard.

agri auto shocks supplied to assembly line at indus and the shocks purchased from open market, have a big difference in performance

Why is that? I asked same question from Partscentral lahore supervisor and he had no clue if AgriAuto makes 2 different qualities of shocks for Indus Motors and local market. But people say the same as you are suggesting. I think best bet is to go for shocks from Dealership, though expensive but quality should be same as factory fitted ones.

because its pakistan....

all the shocks are made on same manufacturing line.

those shocks that meet indus/toyota standard are sent to them.

the rejected ones go to the market.

Maybe that's true or maybe there are production batches specifically for Toyota, rest goes to mkt.

That means a sizeable rejected maal ends up in market. Hard to believe for such a big OEM as Toyota must be keeping track of Agris' quality standards too.

toyota only checks what is provided to them and what is sold as toyota genuine. not what is sold in market as aftermarket part.

also, both indus and agri auto are owned by same house of habib..

Stiffness is a different thing, car feels like shaking on little uneven roads.

Will do some research around coil springs and see if that'd be an apt solution.

every OEM (Parts Manufactured in Pakistan) Supplier to automotive industry in Pakistan, is bound under contract, NOT TO SUPPLY OEM Grade parts to open market.

I strongly recommend to visit NEXT AUTO SHOW in your town and ask the question from different vendors.

agriauto is also owned by House of Habib, They will never jump the contract. as stated by @nfssaad all C grade oem parts are dumped to market.

Part numbers will be identical but the quality will be C (read 3rd) class for price of A grade part.

Sure but they’re priced out of the god damn mind now. Changed front struts for vitz 09and the pair costed 22k pkr back in feb of this year.
