Aoa. I just got my 2018 grande and toyota has given six months free 4g and toyota connect app. I just want to know that is it necessary to insert memory card for system software update ? Secondly does this system uses the same memory card size which we use in smart phones.micro sd card? Will 32 gb kingston memory card work fine without hanging ? Looking forward for suggestions and experince of this car.

Yes it uses microsd card. I used 32 gb one and it worked fine. All new cars are coming with ver 11 of infotainment software.

Old versions can only be upgraded by vendor. Call your dealership regarding updates.

Can you please tell me which video format does infotainment supports? And does it playes videos while driving or is it locked. Looking foward for your response.

I think avi and mp4. You can go in advance settings and enable video play. I think it's hand brake off setting you have to change. Password for advance settings is 1234.

Bro just last thing i want to know from you. Are using grande yokohama stock tyres 2015/55/R16 ? Just one clarification on below query

Is this 205/55/R16 profile ok for grande 2018 as there is much gap between body and the tyre. Does this affects drive and smoothness. Will there be any major difference if piralli p-7 tyre with 205/60/R16 is replaced with stock yokohama tyres.will the car be lifted bit in terms road clearence.

Kindly suggest.

I find these tires very good in terms of comfort, grip, stability and safety. Gap is not much, you will get comfortable with it after sometime. Changing these tires will be just waste of money.

205 60 R16 make the ride extremely comfortable. Moreover, road clearance will improve remarkably. However, pick & economy will suffer a bit. Your choice. Not a bad decision.

one more suggestion. what should be the tire pressure when moving to 205/60/R16 from 205/55/R16. with yokohama stock tires on grande with recommended pressure is 33 psi for all tires.

I have got 205/60/R16 Pirelli P-7 and there is a huge difference in comfort and car has gone totally quite. Yokos were hard and profile selection by company is not good for our roads. Now what tire pressure should i keep with these tires 33 or anything between 31-32 so that drive stays smooth and fuel efficient too.

someone who has done the same plz share his experience and feedback for tire pressure.

Thanks bro. Are u also using grande. Want to know if 32 psi would make car drive bumpy and it would it have any ngeative impact on brakes?

I've sold grande. It's the toyota recommended tire pressure for Avensis which comes with this profile. Your ride will be perfect. Brakes will be fine in sha Allah.

Welcome brother. Yes all 4. Do it first time in the morning. Drive straight to the nearby digital pump. In sha Allah it will be accurate.

How to find out if sygic maps are activated or not ?

My car maps are running fine with sygic ,maps are old enough to not use them.do they require activation ? Or something ?

Its pre-activated. Maps are outdated but today, i have been confirmed by Indus that update will be provided in March. They checked version, and then confirmed over phone and on email as well. Will wait till march as current maps are useless
