Corolla Grande Shocks( Dealership or Market)

Brother i also want to make sure that i get the rights stuff thats the main concern

New shocks in market are for 23000 and dealership is giving for 37000

Actually when i changed my rear shocks with the ones bought from market the car doesnt feel the way it used to be
Like its ok but it doesnt have the grande effect at back

Today i took out the old shocks from the garage and compared the ones which are installed and i found a visible difference in quality
The old ones were still clean and the new ones are already rusty
Also there was difference in engraving of the letters
Maybe im wrong but im really confused

Got it - I suggest to visit a Dealership to get it inspected and a quote for this. It might be bit expensive but will give peace of mind.

day and night difference on way writing is engraved
these might be refurbished.
someones old shocks refreshed repacked sold back in market.

parts may intiha ki 2 numbari hai. having a trusted part supplier is a must.
even common stuff like spark plug or brake discs are flooded with 2 number stuff in spare part market

my friend just got Agri shocks for his grande from open market. car drives perfectly fine.just like oem.

Agri autos is the Toyota genuine shock sold by dealer ship as well. But fake or Chinese copy is also in market. But I haven't seen any vendor claiming China to be Toyota genuine. These are usually mechanics who sell fake parts in the value of genuine.

So buy agriautos shocks and enjoy.

I'd like to add one more aspect to this discussion based on personal experience. Once I went to a Honda dealer to get a part for an older Honda car belonging to my mother. I was a bit surprised at the dealer who said that they will get the part from the market. So my point to you is that when you go the the dealer for your shocks just ask them where will these be sourced from?

Later i check on other shocks as well from different shops they all were same

I know that there is a lot of 2 numbri in everything
Specially spark plugs which are fake causing harm to engine

Mine are also working fine but i feel a bit difference than before

I never go for fake stuff at least i try my best not to

These were bought from market but are original agri shocks

Update

So i have a friend at dealership i contacted him and explained whole situation
He said that the shock toyota is offering has toyota written on them and may have a better finishing in paint other than that there is no difference
He said that you can buy from market there is no problem

I also want to share that recently i had to change my front brake pads so i ordered them from partscentral
They were made in Japan with green color plates worth 19500

Whereas my friend got them from dealership in 26000 which were made in Thailand and had black plates
