When i purchased this car last week, it had all the originality in it except for the item, for which i am never at all in favor of, the CNG. Here i would like to get few suggestions from friends so that i take a decision. It runs super on both fuels. Timing adjusted on 12 degrees and no chocking of air from the intake. Engine remains idle even on petrol. Accelerates perfect on gas and doesn't knock on petrol.
Now the question is would it be feasible to remove CNG from it. How much mileage would it give if i set the carburetor and drive it smoothly, means no screeches program. On local and on long, ie on a speed of 100 km/ltr?
Also should i go for a 5 fwd gear or keep the original 4 fwd. The gear is in perfect condition. Remember, the tire size has already been increased and running on 15" rims.
Expert opinion required.
