i just have a basic question
when is the new corolla shape expected?
for instance if i have to buy corolla 2019
Roughly in what month the booking starts for 2019 model?
does it start in some ending months of 2018?

U should have book at least book 8 month prior as they keep on delaying the delivery date
But u can get the car from showroom by paying own money like 2 to 4 lakh to get right on spot

New shape / 12th generation Corolla Sedan can be expected by 2020-2021.
Usually a generation lasts from 6-8 years, with midlife facelift every 3-4 years, but it's not the case here in Pakistan.
Here generations usually linger from 8-10 years, sometimes, even more than that.

I think bookings are almost closed, especially for XLI / GLI. May be, they have too many orders, or, they are discontinuing it and launching Vios Sedan instead.

If you are lucky enough to get your Corolla booked in June-July, 2018; you will most probably get your vehicle within 6-10 months, depending upon the variant. And it might be 2019 model.

Else if, if you book your 2019 model in January / February, 2019, you might get it by the end of 2019.

Corolla has a lot of demand here. In fact demand is very high and supply is less. Yahan Brand New Corolla Mill hi jye to bari baat hai! Model / Generation ka to koi bother hi nai karta.

To add further to the agonizing pain; sister yahan facelift / new models / latest and current generations which are at par with International markets; ka concept kamm hi hai.

We have limited options here, and that too are unable to cope with the ever increasing demand, and it has resulted in the sad menace of "ON" or "OWN" money, min. 10-15 thousands in case of Mehran, and as high up to .3-.6 million, in case of vehicles costing 2.5 million or more (and depending on vehicle).

Although not a Good suggestion, but I would advise you to get the vehicle from showroom on immediate delivery at any time you want, by paying some premium.

If you opt for this, then you can buy any variant / model of Corolla (and that will be latest / current model), any time from any showroom (where that car is available).

Go for booking with any dealership now.. They are generally giving November-December delivery month for Gli/Altis 1.6 in Karachi. Ask them to give you delivery in January 2019..I think they won't have any problem.. They will generate your PBO for January on Partial Payment of 5 lac.

No use of buying corolla in late 2019.

Lets suppose, you book your car in November 2019 and you'll get the delivery month around April/May 2020.

The new model (12th Gen) will come around June/July 2020.

Better to go for used Corolla rather than new one at that time.
