If search 1nzfe with u340 trans on google, it shows only toyota vitz or probox. as @capsat bhai said in post 555. in he picture its written 35 u340.

1nzfe was upgraded to ETCS-i system. In 2005 i think. now this engine is earlier then that.

Make sure that you also make this point clear that since he has installed this engine without your will, any and all costs for another engine swap will be bearded by him, electric and mechanical labor, oils etc

Yes its first gen because it has cable operated throttle and power steering pump. 1NZ after 2005 came with electric throttle and without ps pump as the cars had EPS.

It's thousand times better than 5a mileage is very good both in cng and in petrol

@hasankhurshid29 do not use any imported oil. stick to shell helix , Total or PSO from authorised shop. you may be needing to change the 1st oil & oil filter within next 2000 kms after swap.

did your mechanic opened the sump and checked for any sign of sludge at oil pickup strainer. if it is not done get it sorted before start.
