In USA they are using 5w30 at even 380k miles with similar temperatures like us. So why we think if the engine is older we should use thick oil?

This is because Hazrat Ustaad RA is stuck with a mindset problem which I call "dada ki vegzall" - which you can also term as stuck 50 or infact 70 years in the past.

In Pk, cars headgaskets are regularly changed at 100K kms because "laakh chalgayee hai" - while on toyotanation you see owners racking up 400K miles on original setup.

Your engine is in good shape, why are you worried about it burning about 300 ml of oil? When it was changed, how much did it drain out?

For the oil filter, it is advised to change every oil change, however you can extend the interval to twice if its a factory type filter the engine is relatively clean inside. Personally speaking I just use a mann/hummel branded filter and call it a day for each oil change, they are cheap and cheerful and are made very decently.

More than 300 ml. I didn't measure the oil which drains out. 300 ml was top up at 3000 kms but you can see when I was changing the oil the oil was near the lower mark. It was last changed in April 2021. So it means the oil consumption maybe around 1 liter or more. I change the oil at 4707 kms.

If it comforts you, toyota still have 1L/1000 kms oil burn under allowable oil usage.

I would suggest you use good airfilters and check the oil only in repeatable conditions. Meaning if you check it cold, make sure you check it on cold again.

Alhamdullilah fine
Fuel consumption is unchanged around 7 to 8 kmpl
But I have ordered a new O2 sensor from Daraz. Let see what happens after replacing O2

Oil consumption is also similar. On 3k kms mark it was a cm lower than half of the max and min mark. But colour is still golden. I poured the remaining oil from the 4L bottle at 3k kms.

But mechanic installed again a used one 🤦

If u shake the pcv valve and it rattles then it's ok.otherwise it,s bad.New one will be available with dealership maybe
