Assalam-0- Alaikum

I've just bought corolla saloon 2004 , 181,000 Km done but maintained. It is giving an average of just 60 km on cng with ac in city.
55L cylinder is installed but the max gas once filled was 7.5 kg. I went to KDA chowrangi and got my cylinder serviced but not much oil found. A friend of mine suggested that it should give atleast 85 km with 55L cylinder.

kindly advise

should i replace the cylinder to 60L ( replacement cost 10.000 )
went to some other cng guru to fix the problem ( if u people know any one plz let me know)

brother I am using a se saloon automatic from 2009 but installed cng in February last year. means 2012. I get 100-110 easily in city with ac on and 55l cylinder. and on gt road from Islamabad to Lahore I got 160+ in a full cng tank. get it checked from a good cng mechanic. this is not surely the mileage it should give. it should give above 90 km in a 55l tank easily. no need to change the cylinder because with the same mileage that you are getting, you will just get 20 30 more kms in one full tank but you will have to pay more to get the tank full and the cost of cylinder as well.

can u plz tell me how much max gas could be filled in 55L cylinder so as to make sure that there is no blockage in my car's volve/cylinder.
I once get max 7.5 kg costing 492/- but a friend of mine says that 55L cylinder should contain atleast 8 - 8.5 kg.

55 litre cylinder have 8.5kg capacity
Btw most of the cars 1500cc and 1600 auto give 70 -85km and manual give 90-100km with AC in KArachi depends on driving style and traffic

IMO any car should atleast give above 120km mileage! wats the point in getting cng filled again n again so early! it will be painful to drive the car on cng with such mileage

Do visit karachi and drive for some time u will get to know karachi people get worst average due to worst traffic

the btu of the gas they get is also much lower then region 1(potohar)
we get much better mileage+pick
and lets not forget thr traffic is a mess

cars in khi avg 80-90-100 usually (came to knw through pakwheels )

true but there are a few CNG stations that have full pressure and not all cars give the same mileage
My dad's Terios Kid(A/T) does 100km easily with A/C and is driven with a heavy foot my City used to give 120 with A/C and our Corona gives 70-80 without A/C
The problem is that most cars have an XYZ kit with "jugaar wiring" along with an XYZ emulater/advancer and only cars which have a proper Landirenzo setup give very good average and drive good too

a friend of mine has an 04 EXi Prosmatec 280K km and an 06 Gli 180K km on the clock both cars give above 120 km on a full cng tank

first of all a car needs to be proper tuned on petrol & only then it can be adjusted to give optimum average on cng. i back fahad.ayub landirenzo is superior to any setup available locally.

again waited in cng lane just after 59 Km WTF, on petrol it is giving 6km/lit

one question wat wud be the max mileage in khi with ac with light foot with corolla se saloon 2004 with 182000 km done.
with maintained car with absolutely sound engine

wow 59 km on a full tank
let me repeat my question which CNG kit does your car have and which emulator and advancer ? faulty equipment can also cause bad consumption another problem is that most cars cng kit's diaphragm gets damaged can causes poor performance and consumption

Dear i have got SE Saloon 2004 manual trans with 55L cylinder. It easily gives an average of 120-130 with AC. On highways it gives more then 170 Km per cylinder. Get it tuned from a good cng mechanic. Regards.

my se saloon auto gives 10 km/l max on petrol and 100 easily in city driving in Karachi. right now the car is in Lahore so getting the average above 110-120 km in a full tank of cng
