Guys, since I am looking to buy a couple of years old 1.6 corolla Altis with Islamabad registration, I am keen to know the amount of token tax payable on this car?

Lastly can someone also let me know the token payable on 1.3 GLI as well for the sake of comparison?

For a 1600 cc car, the yearly token tax is 5,000 Rs., and this is just the token tax (other taxes, fees, charges, etc. are excluded).

Its 1500 Rs. yearly, as 1.3 XLI / GLI falls in 1001-1300 cc engine slab.

It might be on commercial vehicles.

I also heard such thing, but in last ~03 years of owning cars, I have not personally experienced any such thing, i.e. paying additional tax(es) per seat, etc.

I don't think it's applicable to private cars in Islamabad. I think that per seat taxation is applicable at the time of transfer, but I'm not sure.

For 1200-1299cc cars like 1.3 GLi, the total token tax that you have to pay is PKR 3,350/- for Filer and PKR 5,100/- for Non-Filer.
However, for 1501-1599cc like 1.6 Altis Automatic, you have to pay PKR 8,850/- for Filer and PKR 12,600/- for Non-Filer.
