My aunt's complete family in Lahore got infected with coronavirus last week and my uncle just died yesterday. May he rest in peace.

This thing is out of control.

masses have yet to realise how to keep other safe by staying safe.

May you and all your family members recover from the covid.
Covid perhaps had prevailed to make us learn many things. We should follow the SOPs even covid is fully controlled. In such an atmosphere where we live is polluted and the ratio of diseases in normal routine is high in the countries like ours. We should keep distance and wear mask when going outside as a part of our routine.

This second wave is definitely far more serious and deadly than the first wave here. Far too many close relatives and acquaintances being affected from it. But the numbers don't really show the impact this time. One main reason is unlike last time, people are just not going for testing. The Govt is also not making any effort this time to ask people to come for testing and stay in quarantine centers (which have vanished too).

Another rather disturbing reason which I am seeing is that a number of people are being diagnosed Covid negative despite having all the symptoms present, such as fever & cough which aren't going and lack of oxygen. Two of my relatives recently got hospitalized and are taking oxygen due to breathing issues but their Corona test is negative. Recently our cricket team got tested here prior to NZ tour and everyone was negative. Upon arrival in NZ, 7 of them tested positive. Most likely the virus has mutated and our testing procedure isn't detecting that mutation fully. This is getting really serious and rather than relying on Govt figures, we should exercise extreme caution ourselves.

Just returned from Giga Mall, the second largest shopping mall here. The food court was full to capacity. Me and my brother were surprised to see the dine - in activity, despite Islamabad Admin's explicit orders.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Mr. Hamza Shafqaat is very fond of publicity and personal projection, uses nearly all social media platforms, and doesn't miss any opportunity to project his 'utmost efforts' in improving public service delivery in the federal capital.

I request the DC Islamabad to open his eyes and check these blatant violations of official directives that were put in place to curb the menace of Coronavirus. It is already getting out of hands.

My brother has just registered a complaint of the same on Citizens' Portal.

the very same thing is happening at Karachi Doleman Mall food court from 11am to 11.30 pm daily. Technically they attribute it as open air space with safe distance between tables.

Authorities charge their own fee to accept such logics as SOP compliance.

Only the strongest of the herd will survive, these folks you see are obviously mentally slow or incapable of rational thought, hence they are weakest of the herd.

Soon they will be consumed by COVID-19 and human gene pool quality will then increase.

last i visited doleman mall was during eid break. what i can recall is their food court is huge wide open space for sitting. food joints are lined up like kiosks with kitchen at rear. You order, pay, wait collect and sit to eat where ever you like in vast hall.

is it different now ?

I have lost around 7 relatives in the past 10-12 days due to Covid. Many of the doctors in my Family are infected as well.
May Allah have mercy on us.

only during past week 7 of my immediate relatives 4 in Islamabad & 3 in Lahore are Hospitalized for COVID. 3 in mid 30's rest in early 40's. Unfortunately all are smokers., The only contact they have is cell phones. Clearly they are all exhausted but on recovery path. Only ALLAH (swt) knows for how long how many can stay blessed without infection.

Masses are mad, brain frozen.
