Correction in Vehicle documents

Dear All,

I need your help & Guidline regarding solution of below matter:

One of my friend has bought a japanese reconditioned 660 cc car which he has registered from Karachi, when he got his registration documents back, there were two mistakes on those documents which were :One Digit of engine number is changed, his address is also has minor changes,
say for example:
1- engine number is, ABC 87654 they wrote ABC 87454, so mistakenly 4 is written at the place of 6.
2- Address is like, Village Khan Muhammad near new Karachi city Sindh, they wrote Village Muhammad near Karachi city Sindh, so khan is missing there.

Could you all please guide me how to solve these correction problem from registration document without having any duplication in documents????

Dont know how its done, but take your import documents with engine number etc and ask the registration authority to fix the mistake otherwise it will be looked dodgy later when you sell it on. Dont worry about address as its common in Pakistan.
