Cost and Availability of Spare Parts, Maintenance of a BMW 318i 1990-1995 in ISB/RWP?

I wanted to ask if it really is expensive to maintain a bmw 318i 1990-1995 in Pakistan . According to some people i know, they say parts are really expensive and its difficult to maintain.

Can someone give me information and an explanation of this because i dont know much about this

Im looking buy and keep one in ISB/RWP. I would really appreciate info from someone experienced on this topic.

Also do you know any cheap bmw parts and maintenance stores in isb/rwp. The type that wont create more problems?

Cheap parts are from scrap and e36 is pretty old now. The parts may or may not last long. You can go and check kacha stop for spares. Parts from dewan would be expensive. The car is from the era when bimmers were relatively simpler and more reliable and the 1.8litre motor wouldnt give you the driving pleasure you may expect from it. Get a 6cylinder or fet one swapped if you want to have some fun.
