I second chaudhry sahab, if you get under someone's wing for your first project. Can provide countless time to the workshop, endless time in locating and buying the vehicle, and an open ended wallet, go for it. If you are short of any of the three, but possess passion and wish to experiment, only do it if you have spare money for a weekend car.
A project car can't be a reliable daily driver for atleast 6 months of on road testing, unless done by an experienced fellow with an open ended wallet

I can't say boss but then again, at what cost? Hardly pressing the accelerator, maintaining constant speed, concentrating more on shifting the gear at the exact time, keeping one eye on the fuel gauge and one on the odometer. Running AC at economy. As Ferris said in "Ferris Bueler's Day Off" if you dont stop around and look around once in a while, you will miss it (life). I am not taunting anyone more so cause I myself saved for 3 years to buy a jeep but economy and jeeps simply do not mix. Either have a fat wallet for a daily drive or a spare car. What's the fun if you cant gun?

I second this, but everyone gets a fizz of a different drink. Some actually enjoy this maintaining particular speeds and attaining figures that others can't.
So we can't generalize it that way.
I actually used to hypermile on my Gen 2 prius, used to get 25 kml, that was due to the route and the traffic timing.
Secondly, I once attained 11 kml from a 1992 4.2 Nissan patrol, but that was purely painful, I just did it to prove a point.

Just inquiring for knowledge, what's the possibility of swapping an entire vehicle using only your own chassis?

Commonly referred as body change from Peshawar or Quetta. Is there a possibility to swap everything on this chasis? (The legal way)

Bro what i have researched that this is possible... I myself planned on getting an army auctioned RKR, and then swapping the body with NCP... But on research i got to know that NCP land cruiser is way too expensive to get... Plus even if you swap body, you need to pay some tax and amend all things in papers as well... I think it's not a good option.

It was originally a 2Lt, and is now a 1kz, fully loaded variant. Other than that, it's pretty much stock.
And no, I didn't convert it, I purchased it this way, got all the belts and oils changed 2 years back. Sparingly used it, till I ran out of space for it, then parked it at my uncle's house, there it's used just enough so that nothing goes wrong with it.

Bro what are these controls? And do they work after swapping engine and other parts? I noticed that rpm meter of some Vehicle don't work after swapping engine...

Apparently your vehicle is equipped with electronically controlled transmission / transfer case.

Thanks bro... I got these pics from a video... This is not my car... But i have seen these controls in these models so just wanted to know their purpose and their functioning after we swap engine, transmission, both ECUs, and other parts... Can you tell that will these work after doing some swapping work??? I have read about rpm meter that it don't work...

you need premium class workshop to help you.
usually any workshop doing swap consider .. Gadi start ho gai chal pari .. Kam pora gari loo ghar jao

where as premium locations doing swap make sure every thing is working as per manual.
search your vehicle at this website using ID plate digits at so that you know how many variants are there. That will help you source complete working power train for bolt on swap.

1. Electric Hub lock (which is worse thing of this model) get manual one. Than engage 4x4 to have all 4 wheel drive
2. Electronic suspension settings. Which are 100% not working in these modes. Small button os power button.
3. Rear heater
4. Seat height it also have lock slider. When its lock it wont move a lot. When free it will have full under seat suspension working.
5. Set it on zero and it will tell you elevation when u will reach any height. Right one is internal & external temp thingy
6. When OD is off this light will show up

Yes. My vehicle came with electric hubs, I replaced them with manual, still have the electrics with me.
Same for the shocks, it came with these electric shocks, got those changed to normal shock for utility, still have the electric with me.
The electric hubs were faulty but the shocks were fine, yet a friend of my father was too damn adamant on getting them changed, so we got them replaced.
Now it's a fully ready workhorse, all it needs is diesel

Yes, the workhorse variant with 3l or 2l and a manual gearbox, those come with manual hubs from factory
