Restoration might sound easy but with skill set of our normal mechanics, time and energy required, reworks required and then reliability - it is not something with no past experience should try i.e. not recommended. You can find many vehicles for sale within 6 months of restoration and the owners even spent years building them. Restoration will cost you more than a good running vehicle and it might be worthwhile to discuss the costs numbers in detail on this forum so that 4x4 enthusiast can help you take a wiser decision.
Our dear member @mshoaib432722 recommended prices must be correct but he carries loads of experience of such work, a new 4x4 enthusiast might not be able to achieve that due to lack of experience, incorrect choice of workshops, etc.
Is Restoration Easy - No
Is Restoration Possible - Yes, if you are patient while buying one, discuss issues and approach before starting work, have time to invest, go to a reputed suv/4x4 expert (read expensive) mechanic, have the right parts sources and willing to spend on trial and errors.
I will quote v good advice from @consigliori , read it and the replies to it, "I have stated this before and am repeating it again. There are 2 types of jeeps;
1. You buy it for less, spend money on it, stay in workshops for days at an end and then keep praying that it doesn't break down on the road while your family is all dressed up and travelling with you for an outing.
2. You buy it at market value and even at a premium, spend an additional 200k to bring it upto specs and then uses it like a jeep should be used." https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/t/80-series-discussions/1009970/2915?u=waqasch1
read this thread as well which might have answers to many questions n ideas https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/t/guidance-for-first-time-buying-a-4x4/1138230/21
Finally, do drive a few different SUV's before choosing a daily driver unless your heart is set on a 70 series.
