the IMC issued Cuore has the hydraulic transmission - so thats good. Now comes the stupid part.
the boxes found in the scrapyard are from 660cc engines which have a high rpm stall torque converter because the little dinky engines redline at about 8500 rpm - while the 3 cyl 850 cuore engines redlines at 5900 rpm. Installing a 660 gearbox on the cuore will result in very silly shifting
now the stupider part - the reverse apply piston in that automatic box is made of plastic and it swells up and deforms due to heat (very small ATF capacity - and poor cooling system on top of that)
that is the reason most cuore autos fail to reverse. The remedy is available but not in Pakistan - the remedy is an updated part for the reverse apply piston which is made from cast aluminium (like it should have been originally)
if you see its automatic gearbox on the repair bench you will coo - its very small and cute
