Coure missing on petrol

Hi guys..
Whenever my coure is on petrol its giving a karh karh karh sound while accelerating on a slightly low gear..
I went to my mechanic and he said that he will open and wash the carbeurator for 750. On gas the car is perfectly fine..
Are there any precautions i should take or should i let it be?

Its called knocking.

Causes:
1. bad spark plugs.
2. pre ignition. Air/fuel mixture in the cylinder ignites before the spark plug fires.
3. bad fuel filter
4. lean air/fuel mixture

Solution:
correct air/fuel mixture
clean spark plugs and fuel filter.
increase idle rpm temporarily.

I did lose a ring which reduces air while entering the air cleaner unit!
I cant find it anywhere!

But my spark plugs , point and condenser are barely a month

This is a persistant problem as we don't run our car on petrol as much as we should. You can have this fixed but it will happen again

If ur car is not equiped with electronic spark advancer then u need to get spark timing retarted manualy while runiing on petrol other wise engine will knock while accelrating. Another common reason is valve clearance which apparanelty dosent make knocking while engine running on CNG but appears wen shifted to petrol.

• add 50% high octane mixture in normal petrol and drive around 50 km at speed so that blockage in the pipes if any also get removed!

Its normal High Octane fuel, available in big cities.
@poster keep trying man as there are so so many factors that causes knock, specially CNG converted vehicles. Infact knocking is worst enemy of automobile industry.

Tuning wont do any good because you cant tune it on both fuel.
stick to only one and your problem will be solved, either gas or petrol.
Problem occurs when we usually don't drive on petrol. Even my Honda City badly knocks on petrol.
As stated in previous post, there are so many factors that causes knock.

cng requires less air intake. tape the opening just a little more than half.

Salam to all bros...
I got installed rings on my coure and my car is making krah krah sounds while i try to accelrate.. i removed cng kit from car as well i dont use it any more. And my car is like it doesnt hav proper power .. it tries to switch off while moving on a speed braker when speed is a bit slow.. kindly help me with nice suggestions i already spent some 20k on that and still problm with this thing.. plz suggest appropriate solution to this prob.. thnx
