where to get crankshaft position sensor in Karachi for corolla. my sensor is keep giving check light after 2 days. i cleaned it too but it appeared again. any idea used sensor kaha c mileinge in Karachi for coorlla?

I am talking about new! Please avoid installing old sensors you dont know if they are good or repaired to be sold and break when installed! Otherwise there is a guy I guess Named Amir Who sells electrical wiring and sensors at shafiq mor. trhe shop if i remember correctly is in the first alley on the left at the end!

bro my issue resolved. got the qabli sensor from kda market chworangi. i asked randomly a Mechanic if he has crank shaft sensor. he was repairing app Japanese cars and was working on primio automatic transmission lol so i had an idea k he is something knowledgeable guy. i asked him and he said yes he have it and give me for 1000 rs. i installed the sensor and issue resolved. car engine is more smooth now and no check engine light

he also give warranty k ager masla karay to return krdena

i guess they would charge around 20 to 25 k with sensor replacement. which i did in 1100 rs

I agree bro, if person is non technical then these showroom guys looted anyone. one have to be technical to trace the problem and try to resolve it. this forum is so helpful to understand how to resolve the issue without spending money and then you can Search the market to resolve the issue.

Once I visited a shop because of mouth of words, he used to do tuning and everything, he can not make me fool because i know what is everything but kids bringing him there japnese cars paying them 15k for just cleaning plugs , thoratel and Cat which i can get it done in 2500 rs.

Seriously I don't take any of my cars for such issues like changing the plugs etc I do it at home and don't even bother taking these to genius ustaads...

infact bro me to Sensor lene b nai gaya tha, i went there KDA Chowrangi nazimabad to get my car Steering refund from Suspension guy, us k brabar me Shop thi, the Phatan was fixing japnese cars Primio Tramission and other Vitz and have opened engines so i asked him if he have this Sensor, He said yes and told me price , 1000 rs without Fixing and 1500 rs with fixing and told me if didnt work i can bring it back.

Bro, he was good technician and mechanic, his guys were opening Stuff and repairing all technical cars, Bro its Opposite Ziauddin Hositpial on Corner Side when you take a left coming from Board office.

I did Steering work last month and it was stiff so i returned him back and installed from somwhere else and had to take money back as per our discussion with him. So was there for it.

Yes i asked him can he overhaul the Engine, he said he can do anything but his rates are little bit high as compared to market and his work is great. he was saying this to me .

Do not fall for any tactics if he can get a compression btest done the it is fine. Else.. but one has to try some work from new mechanics at one point in time...
