yes, whole tv shows have been aired about road safety but still people are not getting it, my dad has also taught me some things regarding road safety. Alhamdolillah I have a good sense about that now.

just see to ur right n left n cross it

i remember i was crossing a single road once,no cars were coming from right so reached till middle,now there was taxi coming from left who didnt thought to slow down at all as usual so i stopped,he turned his car towards me,so i moved forwards n then he moved to my side,it happened right n left like that every time until he was right about to hit me with same speed,dont know what the hell was he doing,ALLAH ka shukar hai he saved me from that maniac taxi driver who was willing to hit me but wasnt willing to reduce speed at any cost

100Km/hr though high but is not too high for 7th avenue. Sad to see people showing apathy rather fury over the poor soul just because the car was over-speeding as if they themselves have never over-sped even once in their lives. Have we become inhuman beasts as a nation???? May Allah have mercy upon us all

Everyone makes mistakes on the road. And I'm sure everyone on this forum has pushed his car to the limits as some point. Some people get away with it (ie survive) and some don't.
We shouldn't blame any driver here. Cuz we have all done the same.
Nor should we judge anyone. Who are we to judge anyone anyway?

Let's pray for the soul of the departed young woman without commenting negatively . May her soul rest in peace and may God give her family sabar. Ameen.

May we all be careful on the road. Such horrible crashes are eye openers for us.

As expressed by some reasonable people, we should not judge the people and should pray Allah that he save us from involving into any such situations.
I have observed that both pedestrian and drivers are ignorant in many ways. The main point is that people mostly judge others and forget their need of correction for themselves. We all got some responsibilities, many of which I believe that we don't even know about.
However, in such forums people should avoid using smilies, humor and aggression, this is a sad news.

That is not practical
You will land up in prison, police will take your vehicle in custody. Usually in such kind of accidents everyone start accusing the driver and take side of "poor" pedestrian. They would say the driver was over speeding. In the end you will have to pay a lot of money to that pedestrian's family.

i,m also from Comsats isb and during all these years in comsats i have heard about a quite a lot of accidents and some caused deaths its just not women , boys also do such dangerous stuff and get killed difference is boys do it more than girls and still have better chances to survive as they are mostly good at all this while girls do it less but they encounter accidents more than boys.

Totally. Backward Saudi Arabia comes to mind with their twisted logic and regressive policies. Anyway, clearly most women drive awfully, but I know a few who'd give a lot of us a run for our money.
