sir. any update on the project? I was looking at my 013 pt's ecu code. Found it to be different than yours. Please enlighten how to check if the ecu supports cruise. I may get hands on a repair manual of pkdm city. Anyway to check from that? the code goes RD8-P74 at end.

But the best way to proceed is to hook a scan tool and browse the ECM live data under engine control

Then browse for cluster and look under "cluster live data"

Both "LIVE DATAs" should have input signals listed as CRUISE Main, Cruise SET/Decel, Cruise Resume/Accel

Sir. I guess I will have to hook up complete wiring and controls and then check with OBD scanner. Or will OBD show CC parameter in scan without the wiring and buttons present.

Secondly. The input in ECU from the brake pedal shoulf be NC or NO, if you could confirm this and the slot number again, would be thankful.

No need to begin wiring without confirmation. The scan tool shall show you the parameters.

If its not there, it means its not supported. Thats how Honda's work. Lets say, AUTEL scans all OE Specific parameters in case of Honda's (unlike Toyota), and then only shows which ones are available.

The brake switch signal is NC when No Brake applied. When pushed on pedal, the circuit should open.
The NO contact is already there in the factory switch.

So... today got the car scanned by @carfest islamabad. Very kind of them to help out a fellow. Unfortunately, my ecu doesnt supports cruise too.

Conclusion: None of the 1.3 prosmatec city (2009 till date) in pakistan have cruise enabled ECU. Hence, there is no point of putting more efforts into this DIY. However, people wanting to check their 1.3mt, 1.5mt, 1.5pt for cruise control may get their cars scanned.

Honda is really holding lots of people from a potential personal upgrade.

I am still hopeful that 1.5 City owners might get lucky. No one has reported anything yet though.

No, it will not tell you the required information. A deeper level scan tool is required

I admire your initiative, however this is not a cruise control. Its simply holding the throttle, not controlling the speed with road incline/decline. And this is Dangerous. This has a high risk of unintended acceleration, same as Toyota Mat Recall.

that's a nice try, but this method doesn't control the speed. it just locks the throttle.

Have some lovely news for you all. Cruise control and immobiliser activation has been finally achieved by a lovely faisalabadi owner who has a 2010 1.3 auto city.

It can be activated in all EXCEPT manuals so far. The wiring as per him is present 2014 onwards variants that costs around 15-20k including labour with whatever parts needed.

2009-2014 need more wires spliced into and has a estimated activation cost of 35-40k as some require a kaabli ecu as well.

I shall be sharing videos soon. I repeat; this is not a gimmick and has been finally achieved in AUTO/PROSMATIC ONLY

Hi, I know it's an old thread but still I want to share my observations regarding cluster connector pinouts numbering order.
I am owner of honda city prosmatec 1.5 2014. While going through the thread, I decided to try my luck for cruise control. I am not very much into cars but being an engineer I decided to repeat the experiment with a little hope as I have seen videos on YouTube showing successfully activating cruise control in pkdm city.
Back to the point, the connector pin 19,20,22 is discussed above for cruise resume, set and cruise main respectively, while I found out while experimenting that these numberings are not correct. Pin 27,29 and 30 are the correct numbers.Uploading...
