Bro i ain't saying that that 180 million pakistani's drive bikes out of 180 million 6 million are kids and babies and 2 million or 2 million drive car so 2 million don't hav any transport and lastly bike riders are 8 million atleast first know about Pak:P

So according to your theory Pakistans total population is 6+2+2+2+8= 20 million or 2 Crore ?
FYI Pakistans population is more than 180 million or 18 crore so i think your the one who needs to learn about Pakistan here
Most of the people use bikes for daily commuting so would they care about whats going on in the world ? Maintenance is dirt cheap parts are cheap what else would they want ?
and if people are concerned about modern bikes or are real enthusiasts they wouldn't care about the money and get one anyway

Pakwheelers do not represent the majority of buyers we have in Pakistan.
We dont drive the demand....... the Haari....the kisaan........ the dehati..... those are the real pakistanis who drive the demand of these bikes......... they are happy with stickers changing every year......... they love it.

It is just like the main stream Pakistani cimena.......... kisi educated pakistani ko humari typical filmien pasand nahi ati...... bcoz those movies are not made for you. They are made for the same ppl for whom these bikes are made.

So if you think you are above these bikes........ dont buy them....... import one ...... its not like the govt is stopping you from importing one......... haan duty lagay gee................... which is fair..........

Jab humaray haari bhai realize keray ge...k enuff is enuff dude...... show me something new....... new stuff will pour into the market.

Assemblers experiment ker kay dekh chukay hain...... anything different which came to this market failed badly. For a small niche you cant expect manufacturers setting up assembly lines to sell 100 units a year.... its not commercially viable.

India ki population zaida hai...... per capital income bhi hum se zaida hai........ wahan per KTM jaisi bikes ka plant lagna commercially viable hai. Yahan nahi hai.

Seedhi see baat hai....... apni pasand ki bike chahiye........ import kerlo khud.

i was talking about a better bike by some mainstream company, with spares, warranty, mechanical and technical support. ya sb cheezen suzuki ny di hn and they have sold many busa's, more than they expected, gd110 although not in karachi but its sale is equal to suzuki raider/sprinter in lahore and sialkot as i have seen and u are talking about economy of Pakistan, brother pakistan is an agricultural country, its economy basically relies upon crops. but Pakistan is failing in that too, reason being our methods aren't advanced enough to sustain the pressure of increasing demand of produce per acre. we need to shift our reliance towards industry in order to stabilize our economy. and talking about c/d and taxing structure, it benefits the elite class of our country. common man in this country pays a bigger share of his income to government than a wealthy person, while it should be the other way around.

Firstly 110cc bike khi mein ya if im not wrong puray sindh mein kam bickti hain. 110cc class has always been targeted towards punjab. GD110 is a damn good product yet sales utni achi nahi hain jitni honi chahiye...... I personally think its better than GS150 ( I know im getting in a lot of trouble claiming this )

GD110 has far superior product quality than raider...... shoro may achi hoti har model ki quality...... jab purana hojata hai model tow company quality reduce kerti hai....suzuki practice..... they have done that before and sit tight they will do it again. Phir dekhtay hain kitni GD sale hoti hai...... GS ha hashar dekh liya naa

Thing is car industry of pakistan is a bit more evolved than the bike industry. Jab say imports ana shoro hoyee hain mechanic kaam kernay lagay hain ab....... werna shoro mein har cheez replace hee hoti thi in cars ki.

Jaisay car imports se car mechanics groom hoye hain bilkul waisay hee bike mechanics bhi groom ho saktay hain given that substantial amount these bikes are imported in Pakistan.........

Loo ge aap 3 lac ki bike mein tow kabhi nahi loonga........used 400cc ya 600cc sports bike mil jati hai is keemat mein yahan.

today i was coming to office, saw an huge traffic block due to some ijtema (i guess) near subzi mandi islamabad. i realised that "PEOPLE" can make a huge change by just coming out on roads as a silent protest against all the bad things happening in our country, but again who will take the responsibility to take over, PML-N, PPP, PTI, PAT etc etc, black sheeps are eating everything coz we are letting them to do so and sorry guys big or small doesn't matter some where we also happen to be the black sheep of this community.

Yaar media buhat exaggerate kerta hai Pakistan ki economy ko..... werna honestly speaking Pakistan ki ecomony kafi behtar huwee hai after zardari era. I live in Karachi....... I'am an urdu speaking fellow........ Nawaz popular nahi hai karachi mein bcoz of 92 operation.....but fact is fact........ industry flourish ker rahi hain i nawaz era. Look at your KSE-100 index......... real estate ki prices check kernay. Economy is on an upward trend. Yeh kehna ke Mulk ke Halaat kharaab se kharaab-tar hotay jaa rahay hain, is not fair. Haan there is a lot of room for improvement.

Economy strength jitni bhi achi hojaye..... agar consumer behavior change nahi hoga tow modern bikes nahi ayegi. Therefore to change the biking industry you have to change the biking mindset...... I personally think...... only China can do it for us.

Modern bike China se import ho agar (import in parts and assembled here)..... and when I say modern... I mean something like a clone of KTM Duke 390 or the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. But rather than going crazy with the displacement....just keep it 150cc or maybe 200cc at max. It will keep the price low..... and attract a larger target market. I have worked in Chinese market and I can bet landed cost of these bikes here will not be more than 100k....... at that add a healthy profit margin for the importer/investor of 50k and voila........ KTM 200 Duke clone for 150k. hats not a hawa mein ki huwee baatien ....... thats 3years experience working for and in Chinese export market. I think Maybe........just maybe this could be a viable venture.
