Asalamualikum Dear Pakwheel brothers, I have been through many forums of PW, especially bikes...I know the major bikes in Pak are CG 125, CD70 , GS150, SPRINTER,GD110 , PRIDOR, RAIDER, MANY MORE, the question which arises is that the world has moved on to another level of biking , Even India is creating amazing and i mean amazing bikes , whereas we Pakistani's are far far behind ...
We buy brand new 125 or Gs 150 and become happy?
Why is this guys these bikes are of 1980's designs they have got old features none have disc brakes , fuelgauge , modern shapes...
SUZUKI GD110 WAS LAUNCHED BUT WHICH FEAUTURES DOES IT EVEN HAS?NO MODERN TECH....

Why is our economy declining?

Why is India succeeding??

Why is this happening to us????

Who is to be blamed??? Is IT Because of us ???
Do we deserve it or not ??
First I'll see the responses and then i'll share my view....
I'll be awaiting for a good and educated response from fellow brothers,

Because we all just talk ane do nothing whenever someone gets to a better place he moves out of country and every one wants his advantage and corruption originates. Bro its not just cars and bikes if we all get sincere with Pakistan we can change this situation but:((

Lets start a protest in which we will mail/contact the automobiles manufactures and ask them to raise the standard of their products as per International.

This chaotic situation is due to the following reasons:
-Almost zero competition
-The big 3(Atlas Honda, Pak Suzuki and Toyota) forming a cartel
-The Government not allowing other international automobile companies to enter into Pakistan without paying huge comissions
-The political and security instability in the country
-People's attitude and favor towards these obsolete vehicles
Now the people want change but they do not struggle to achieve it. People are so fed up of fuel prices but do not want to fight to bring these prices down. If all Pakistanis stop using petrol and diesel even for two or three days then it will cost the Government millions as all of their black money comes from the sales of petrol and diesel and this will force these monkeys to reduce prices, but no nobody is ready to fight for their rights.

Yeah right!

Pakwheelers do not represent the majority of buyers we have in Pakistan.
We dont drive the demand....... the Haari....the kisaan........ the dehati..... those are the real pakistanis who drive the demand of these bikes......... they are happy with stickers changing every year......... they love it.

It is just like the main stream Pakistani cimena.......... kisi educated pakistani ko humari typical filmien pasand nahi ati...... bcoz those movies are not made for you. They are made for the same ppl for whom these bikes are made.

So if you think you are above these bikes........ dont buy them....... import one ...... its not like the govt is stopping you from importing one......... haan duty lagay gee................... which is fair..........

Jab humaray haari bhai realize keray ge...k enuff is enuff dude...... show me something new....... new stuff will pour into the market.

Till then ...... sit back....... relax ................ and enjoy the retro style bikes of Pakistan.

Embrace the retro-style....... yeh period bikes hain bhai ........ super cool...........
wohi wali baat hai..... humein kadar nahi hai werna retro style bikes fetch good money aboard.

boycott is not the solution of everything. if one or more come in feild and compete these monopolistes this can bring change.

Even if they they launch fancy bikes how many of us would actually buy them ?
Majority of Pakistans population live in rural areas and are a major part of the total bike sales here
and even if you boycott their products how many people would you convince ? You cant stop 180 million people from buying bikes

Bro i ain't saying that that 180 million pakistani's drive bikes out of 180 million 6 million are kids and babies and 2 million or 2 million drive car so 2 million don't hav any transport and lastly bike riders are 8 million atleast first know about Pak:P

Bhai jaan yahan ka common man Bike leta hai bcoz its cheap to buy and cheaper to maintain.

Jab modern bikes ki baat karain tow un mein EFI hota hai......... OHC engine hotay hain....... kabhi kabhi ECU bhi hota hai..... do you really think our mechanics can repair these electronic items........ matlab replace kerna paray ga......matlab kharcha.......... matlab koi nahi lega.

Habib Styrker ayee thi market mein..... indian bike thi........ leee aapnay........ kyo nahi lee....
RP150 ayee hai market mein.....1 unit bhi bicka...........1 unit.........ek bhi nahi bicka....

Baatien kerna buhat aasaan hota hai ....... yeh mein aap ko nahi keh raha...general see baat hai.

Suzuki GS-150 ki sale zaida hai ya CG125 ki..........

Yahan loog GS aur RP ko tow khareed nahi rahay.... suzuki GS150 ka selling point zero mark-up on installments and low snatching rate hai...specially in karachi.... uskay baad bhi dekhlo sale kitni hai.

Yaar claasic CG aur deluxe ko dekhlo........ konsi ziada bickti hai.......

Agar Pakwheelers ko dekho tow majority GS ko prefer kerti hai over deluxe or CG......... Its proves we aint the representation of Pakistan's motorcycle market....... we are niche..... aur jo niche hota hai na..... us per premium pricing bhi apply hoti hai aur market mein uskay liye products bhi kam mass produce hotay hain.......

Jahan tak rahay sawaal retro bikes ka tow zara google kerlo........ then tell me CG classic retro bike hai nahi...... 1 saal purana wala cd70 model retro bike hai ya nahi........... first get your facts right......... aapko ganda kerna mera maksad nahi hai.

Im happy with what the market has to offer. Its practical and I can work on it myself..... Its cheap to buy and maintain.

Aap Pakistan ki rural awam ko stereo type ker rahay hoo....... whereas I'm optimistic.....thats why Im happy.

Aapko modern bike chahiye .......... import them........ yahan loogo per chilaanay se masla hal nahi hoga.
