Cultus 2003 auto radiator fan in scorching karachi heat?

Assalamualaikum Brothers. I have saved money for 4 years and Alhamdulillah recently purchased a cultus 2003 model as budget was fixed.
It's condition is fair. But there are a lot of problems im running into. My only source of income is Indrive. So if car is running properly only then I can earn.

Here's my query: lot's of problems i got fixed one by one. Now I was researching on auto radiator fan and Tvalve. My radiator fan is direct and no tvalve i think. I don't have much knowledge. Now if my understanding is correct, getting auto radiator fan and tvavle properly set up will give my car faster optimum temperature and less idle rpm issues. But I don't really trust any mechanic (not even our family mechanic as they have years of experience but doesn't understand that direct radiator fan causes battery voltage to drop causing alternator to work more resulting in engine load.
Maybe little but it is still there.
My car takes 15 minutes to warm up. until then it keeps stalling due to low rpm when accelerator is not pressed. I run on lpg.
It happens both on petrol and lpg.
I want to get it properly set up auto radiator fan and tvalve etc. Budget is very tight. Is there any trusty person in karachi who can do it for me? I would be extremely thankful as i am really tired of constantly in tension of car not reaching optimum temperature or overheating.

I also want to know if there will be any heat up problems with this. Because even in direct fan when car is properly heated up, it feels like overheating as i feel heat waves from engine and those pesky plastic tapes on wires burning smell. Temperature gauge needle is little above the small nut above C (around 45-50% or maybe 60%mark)
Temperature gauge is fine, shows correct temperature but temperature reaches middle point after a long time. Means car is taking forever to reach optimum temperature.
Car is also reducing water. Head Gasket was blown, changed it, water is reducing slowly now but it is still reducing.
I tried pouring coolant, it reduces as well. No leaks.
When car is hot, coolant pipes are hard meaning there is much pressure. I am tired of these so called experienced mechs, i want someone who knows actually how it should be.

I know a mechanic who'll listen to you and do as you say. I can share the details if you're interested but it's more like you'll have to explain to him what you wanna do and why.

What type of mechanic is he? Can he actually diagnose stuff rather than 'ustad purani gari he auto fan pe heat ziada karygi'?

Somewhere in between. Like he initially told me not to install a T valve but when I told him to install it any way he did it. So he's the type who'd listen to you.

installing the thermostat valve is kind of risky though in older cars, especially the ones that have their engine's / gaskets overhauled ..

i'd say don't install the thermostat valve at least in summers, but just make the raidator fan auto.

15 minutes to warm up in summers is too much.. i think 2-3 minutes of warm up is more than enough even for a 2003 model engine.

my car also reduces coolant/water, but i am yet unable to find a mechanic who can properly fix this issue : ( everyone i took the car to just did a visible leak check and said no leaks found, it's normal.. etc. etc..

Sounds like you need to hire a real knowledgeable mechanic, your family mechanic probably has been screwing up cars for years upon years and telling you its his experience.

Someone who cannot and will not fix up a full cooling system even when its apart for headgasket repairs is a not a mechanic but a waste of time.

Your system is probably patched with rust and is plugged with debris everywhere. Your cars cooling system is more than capable of cooling down in scorching tropical heat, but only if its working good, the debris, rust and scale reduce the cooling system capability by about 60%

my car also has tstat installed and fan auto but using water, I often worry about the day if tstat gets stuck due to rust it's going to be a problemmmm

Rust wont block the thermostat, the thermostat has a finite life and requires change every 10 to 12 years to keep in good shape, usually it fails in open state and causes overcooling, in very rare cases the valve fails in closed state.

The major offenders of blockage are the coolant transfer pipes to the waterpump (waterbody), it causes the system to act as if the thermostat is blocked closed. This is due to the fact that the waterpump transfer pipe is directly connected to the radiator. No movement means coolant is not moving in radiator but bypassing within engine.

It’s documented as citric acid flush on this forum. It’s quite easy but you may have to replace all weak parts as all the rust is removed and exposes holes once the job is done.

Not really. I have been to Hyderabad and back without a T valve with auto fan. Surprisingly it was the only time I was able to get around 15/16 kmpl with my Cultus.

Other members have said not having a T valve gives bad mileage and I have heard somewhere that it slowly kills the engine.

Is it a good idea tho? Any acid can cause corrosion. Why not just flush it with distilled water a few times (till the water coming out is clean) and refill with a coolant?

I think you're talking about the metal pipe attached with water pump, yeah even that pipe is quite rusted on my car...saw it when I got the water pump replaced with new.....im going to have that pipe replaced soon

When the head is removed, all such piping is visible and can be replaced in literally minutes.

Why didnt your mechanic change those parts if they were rusted?

You need to use acid to dissolve the built up sediment and corrosion then plain water to remove the acid agent.

Then refill with coolant mixture to prevent future corrosion problems. Using plain water only will do absolutely nothing.

The mechanic said it is fine no need to change. I kept telling him if there is blockage, it will cause water circulation issues. Better to be on the same side. Check and change it since head was already open for gasket, but they didn't listen.
I will look into it soon Insha Allah.
Meanwhile should i go for auto radiator fan without a Tvalve?
This is becoming pain to keep it functioning properly, as before every visit to mechanic i have to save money for the expense and sometimes it takes months Due to jobless situation and rented house with whole family responsibility.
So far I have spent approximately 60-70k something on different things on this car. Car is Masha Allah fine and doesn't give random dhokay like my previous alto 2006.
Can't argue much with the mechanic as he is close friend of my father and I would rather avoid upsetting him.
Can't even argue with father because he's deeply convinced that this is the bharosay mand mechanic.
I am learning to do different minor things myself.
Please advise what to do with this car?

Fix the cooling system properly and bring it back to factory specifications. Only then will you have a reliable vehicle.

If your mechanic does not believe in preventative maintenance and actively ignores worn parts, you need to fire him.
