Assalam O alaikum Pakwheelers!
Finally I have my new (second hand) ride: Cultus 2003. The owner told me fixing the head would cost me 5-8 and the mechanic would weld it. But with my limited knowledge I believe that's a short term fix and since I had bought this for my family I think going for an overhaul would be the best idea.
I would really appreciate if you guys could guide me about overhauling as I think since I won't be using AC now so may be I should overhaul it in Feb 2018 or should I go for it now?
Does overhauling helps the engine to run AC smoothly (excluding the compressor, condenser part ofcourse)?
How much kilometer after overhauling and what it would cost me to completely overhaul including replacing head.

Do Cultus run AC smoothly on CNG? On my previous ride (Mehran) I never used AC on CNG but always on Petrol and I do have in mind do the same with Cultus, but still just want to know.
Current the owner has been running the car only on CNG and I will get the fuel pump checked tomorrow to see if the car needs little bit of carburetor service.
I am from Karachi by the way.
