Cultus 2004 vs 2008 buying decision

I am stuck between making decision for 2004 or 2008 model of cultus. As 2004 is agreeing for 410k while 2008 is demanding 470k. both cars currently seem mechanically ok i am not sure what happens after a month or so. Is there anyone who can help me with making decision as its my first time buying a car?

2004 for 410 and 2008 for 470 kuchh to garbar hai, either one of them is selling to high or other too low.

To get peace of mind, why don't you get 2008 one tested from Pakwheels carsure

2008 has been inspected by my neighbor who is also auto mechanic ...the guy who is selling says he used the car roughly and never spent a rupee on his car...outside touching hai aur thora thora paint b kharab hai...mechnically car achi hai according to mechanic but look wise bot e buri condition hai

2004 is also mechanically fine but I feel k month bad uski real condition samne aye gi q k car auto shop pr khari hai...outside kch kch area painted hai...

as you described the condition of both the cars about the same ... umm..if i were you, i would have gone for the latest model (2008) . kyon k phir bhi, agar condition dono ki 19/20 hai to at least model to new hai , kuchh cheezain to phir bhi behtar hon gi.

however, i would seriously advise you to be prepared to spend 20-30k more on the car to bring it into your required condition or otherwise, increase your budget and find another good car if you don't want to go to workshops every other week.

you are absolutely right..but the thing is whatever condition i am going to purchase, there is always hidden work required for every used car...no one sells his car (suzuki brand) if it is excellent...n if i want to go above 500k for a used car i think it would be better to buy a zero meter (i am not taking this idea for now as i never drove a car)...

470k for 2008 is too low....the current price for 08 is 550k to 6lac

U r right no one sells suzuki if its good to them...i hv 2008 and dont wanna sell...lol

My opinion to not for this 470k 08 model at all, as it is ready for repeated mechanical or major body/chasis work thats hidden now.

I wud also not recommend 2004 cultus because its a carburettor one and as u say its standing in auto so a No no to it

First time buying car wud be best a Mehran or Cuore...mehran i believe 2008 model fr 5 lac and 2007/8 for cuore fr 5 lac also i believe

well. See when is himself is saying that he never went to mechanic or spent money for 2008 this means very soon you will visit if you purchase . For old car visits to mechanic are necessary to keep the vehicle fit.

4.70 for 08 is toooo low.. car must be in very bad shape.. i sold my 09 cultus 2 months bak for 660k here in abbottabad. Car bonnet and fender was showered and few other touchups but car was mechanically in excellent condition.
