I'm looking for some advice and recommendations for my Suzuki Cultus 2007 (carburetor model) here in Karachi.
I had the car's axle changed earlier this week, and my mechanic informed me that the steering rack is completely worn out. This seems to be the reason my aftermarket EPS (Electronic Power Steering) is jerking and not working correctly.
I need to get a few things done and would appreciate your help finding a reliable and honest workshop/mechanic who won't overcharge.
Here's the list of jobs:
- Steering Rack Replacement: Replace the faulty steering rack.
- Door Panels: Change the interior door cards/panels on all four doors.
- Power Windows: Since the door panels will be removed anyway, I'd like to get power windows installed at the same time.
Could you please recommend a trusted mechanic or workshop in Karachi that can handle these tasks?
Also, if anyone has had similar work done recently, could you give me a rough estimate of the costs?
- Approximate cost for the steering rack (parts + labor)?
- Approximate cost for new door panels and power window installation?
