Cultus 2008 Engine oil ZIC X5 20W-50

Yesterday I sent my car for schedule maintenance and oil change. My younger brother replaced the oil with 20W-50(Partially synthetic) instead of ZIC x7-5w-20 (Fully Synthetic).
Now I am worried about the engine wear and tear. I have read on many blogs that partially synthetic and high viscous oils are not very good for engine?
What should I do? shall I flush the oil with 5w-20, but the car has only run on the 20w-50 for about 50Kms only.
Need suggestion.
P.s. The model is 2008 EFI, engine is in very good condition with 130000km on clock

Go for 10W40 API SG,SJ or SL

no need to flush. infact i myself was putting same ZIC 20/50 in my 2008 cultus efi and i loved everybit of my engine's performance and cng mileage. cultus have a very very old school tech engine. 5/30 is not for cultus.

If u r living in warm region (Karachi, Lahore etc) then it's fine. No need to flush.
Waise bhe use it till recommended mileage and then change. I have 2013 Cultus and done many experiments and finally sticked to 10w/40 (from khi). 20-30yrs old engine technology ka kuch nahe bigarta.

Previously you using 5w-20?? If not then switch to 10-40..20w-50 is too much thick.

Bro, first check and confirm, which oil had been in use previously?
Order of increasing viscosity of oils for gasolene engines is generally as:
0w-xx (being the thinnest and mostly for hybrids / extremely cold climates), 5w-xx (For almost all new, non-hybrid engines now a days), 10w-xx, 15w-xx and 20w-xx (being the thickest and for old engines with very high odo reading)
xx can range from 20, 30, 40 or 50, etc.
For a 2008 Cultus with Odo reading of 130k kms and above, I would personally suggest 10w-40 grade engine oil, of any reputable brand. Oil must be fully or partially synthetic, with API rating of SN / SM but not below it.
Most importantly, oil must be 100% genuine and original.

Cultus efi has flat tappets. API SM and SN oils are not recommended for it due to less zinc in them.

Ok. I didn't know that.
My source of information was American Petroleum Institute:

And according to this source, SL and SJ API rating is for engines made before 2004 and 2001 respectively and, SH and below grades are obsolete.
