Cultus 2010 CD player and woffer setup? plz help

HI ..PW's My question is
the genuine Pre and speakers are decent in performance..Am thinking to install a woofer ..I wana whether I can intall woofer without an amplifier..or AMP is necessary..!! Plz help..waiting for ur useful infoz

I have also seen some Cultus and Alto users ..they have intalled Woofer with out any AMP..

woofer can be install with pre. . .laikn kch faida nhn ho ga . . ..it will not produce any bass

u must have amp to kick it . . go for mono amp with woofer . .if u r satisfied with your speaker vol and quality

else you have to install 4 chnnl amp with nice pair of spkrz

but i must advce you to go for four spkrz and detcble woofer box
it need two amp mono and 4 chhnl

you must have budget arnd 20k for good system

Bhai lagane ko tou yahan kuch bhi laga daite hain jaise lovesleeping wale bhai aap ko lagane ki koshish kar rahe thay, but get an amp for that... if possible get a mono amp.

@ poster.. m playing 2 subs in mi car without any amp.. both r making some hard base...:).. bt those are home subs...:P... u`ll definitely need an amp for convey proper current to woofers..

ur head unit gives max 20 w rms per channel , and to use a woofer to its potential u need 400rms .. amp gives u that power.. even 150 w amps do play the woofer nicely but 20 w wont..

so get a 4 channel amp get 2 new speakers.. and a woofer..

the shopwala who said 3 k wud have assumed u have an amp already
for 3 k u can get china woofer or used branded woofers easily

If you have imported tape with mosfet system then you'll be able to use 1200w woofer on it.i personally use it. @harris24
