Cultus 2010 VXRi Water Reducing/AC Tripping Problem

Assalamolaikum

I have bought a Cultus 2010 VXRi on last Wednesday from third party (so called jannay wala). While having my first ride on car and bringing it back to home from seller's location i witnessed an instant turn off engine after 15-20 minutes of driving if i take my foot off the accelerator or press brakes/clutch and it kept doing it until i reached home. I opened the car bonnet and checked the radiator water which was completely empty and the car was extremely heated up and it smelled as if something is burning.

I took the car to the mechanic and he said that you will have to change the gaskit and waterbody and there is no water leakage from radiator or any other part. I got it done today and still the water reduced for like one small cup after half an hour of driving with AC. Can someone tell me please is it normal? or the water reduced is abnormal. Earlier after like half an hour driving the radiator water will be reduced to 1 glass.

Plus my AC works absolutely fine upto half mark and for first 10-15 minutes but once the car is driven for longer duration or i turn it full it trips immediately and stops cooling at all until i turn it off and wait for 10-15 minutes to start it again.

Please fellow members kindly help me what could be the exact problem regarding both water reduction and AC tripping as i have explained each and everything in detail. Expert advice need

Your car is heating up. Looks like problem with radiator as the car is reducing water. Get it checked/serviced from another radiator mechanic and make sure the car doesn't reduce water. When your radiator is all set then check your AC's performance. If it still trips then you would have to service the AC as well.

Water reduction of 1 cup after half an hour is not normal specially after head gaskit replacement. It looks that there is some water leaking. Use some low cost color coolant. See if you notice some water leakage. If there is water leakage from some pipe replace it or fix the problem. But water reduction is a serious problem and can not be left unnoticed.

Bro thanks for your suggestion but the problem with our mechanics is that 90% of them don't catch the root cause of the issue which results in wastage of money. They keep on experimenting until you are fed up and the issue never gets resolved. Yesterday i told AC wala about the tripping issue and he didn't even take a second to claim that low gas in compressor is resulting in Ac tripping lol. i seriously doubt his intelligence because if the gas level is low then the AC wouldn't cool at all and the throw will hardly be noticeable too.

you are right bro that's one way to spot any leakage from some pipe. Shouldn't i ask the mechanic to lift the front wheels of the car through jack and put the speed to 40-50 KM for few minutes? i have checked many a times myself that there is no leakage when the car is off but may be when i press the paddle while driving and the pressure is created it starts to leak?

Just to add, a bad radiator with cracked/corroded/torn jaali will allow water to seep through unnoticed. Also, there could be seepage at ends of both hose pipes...

The most worrying aspect is that i have to travel to islamabad either on this weekend or next weekend, i am just waiting for the car to be completely fit. Even if i somehow neglect water reduction problem, Tripping AC will ruin my whole journey in this hot weather.

Tripping of AC might be because of some problem in compressor clutch. I myself had this issue. AC was tripping on low speed. Got my AC full serviced because of the wise mechanic and later on it was found that the problem was with the compressor clutch which required a very little adjustment.
