Salam to everyone I have few questions to ask about my cultus 2007. Firstly i have installed 1300cc GTI G13b sohc, i have been operating its ac for past few years but its performance is equivalent to null during peak hours, im planning to change ac compressor, cooling coil... condenser is new bought it last year, i have heard that DUET ac compressor works really good on cultus and its cooling might be close to corolla i have corolla aswell, all i want is to get my cultus’s ac performance close to corolla ‘s ill be pleased if someone guides me JazakAllah ️
And yes as I mentioned i have 1300cc engine, can i install corolla’s ac compressor?

Alright, ill ask ac technicians to vacuum lines. What about ac compressor? If it needs to be replaced?
Duet(doot) is compressor of toyota duet you can google the car...It you can find one in good condition it will work great, but other things also matter like gas charge proper vacuum, ac oil... EtcIf you have sanden system then its compressor is not that good and you may need to replace it... But if you have denso compressor and is in good condition get system serviced by a good ac mechanic.Was your 2007 cultus efi or carburator one?Denso used go come in efi cultus while sanden in carburator models... My friend has cultus 2007 model with stock ac (efi one) and its ac is chilled even in peak summer time.

YES! Have heard efi model gives better ac performance.Mine was in carburettor, currently its efi 1.3.. my first priority is to get corolla or cuty’s AC otherwise duet would be secondary option . Lets see what happens
You can try old model corolla compressor... New sensor tech compressor might not be compatible. Old ones also performs better, generation before 2008.
Today i got my ac fixed, AC technician insisted on keeping my current compressor and he replaced evaporator which was in bad shape. Got evaporator for 8k (i was shocked) and gas refilled, vacumed the line as suggested by @archon2001 , currently it was chilling as weather is not so hot, i had to turn off ac and while running ac was tripping frequently. I hope it performs well during peak season. Thank you all for your support, means alot JazakAllah
I have cultus 2016 efi, when i turn on ac it works for 10 min and then all cooling just disappears, experts please suggest whats the possible cause, air flow is decent, i also get it serviced but my ac technician suggest change compressor, waiting for expert opinion
