Cultus AC Service

Aoa. I have cultus 2010. The AC is working fine but it's been 2 years since i bought this car and i have never serviced its AC. I want to know is it a good idea to take her to a mechanic for AC service condisering there is no problem in cooling or throw. I have heard that the mechanics will release the original company gas and fill it with their substandard one which will eventually cause troubles to AC system in near future. Need your advice. Also tell me what do they charge for AC service? Thanks

If you are not facing any problems then i will advise you to leave it as it is.
These local AC mechanics don't use proper equipment hence causing several problems.

You can get the evaporator cleaned without disturbing the rest of the system. For doing this just blower motor would be taken of.

Please tell me what's the cost of full AC service and what exactly do they do in AC service?

If in khi, around 2500 for full dismantling of ac unit/parts and refill of new gas

Does this 2500/-RS include the cost of dryer bottle.
Here in my city these guy's charge seperate for the dryer bottle according to the brand/quality one uses.

For full AC service they charge
1500-2000/-RS for gas charge.
500/-RS for AC service.
500-2000/-RS for dryer bottle(if the system is dismantled then).

Dont know about dryer bottle..but the ac wala i am talking about is a 10/10 person for ac works

Visit Suzuki dealership for maintenance they charge same as mechanic.

Visited Suzuki workshop. They charge Rs 5000 + 13% GST for AC service and gas filling.

Great. You can enjoy your AC for another two years. 5000/2 is 2500 per year. It's good.

I didn't go for AC service. I just asked the rate and came back because the guy there told me that my car's AC was fine.
