Cultus AGS 2020 Booking Issue

Hi Guys,
Need some expert advice since this was my first experience buying a zero meter car and I'm sort of worried thinking that I made a mistake. Ok so initially I was set on buying a Kia picanto, even test drove it n loved the drive. At last moment people changed my mind saying it had no resale value plus spare parts availability/price will also be a downside so I booked a Cultus ags instead from one of the main suzuki dealerships in Islamabad. Made full payment for booking 1.99M on 29th jan, on 30th Jan I was asked to pay 10k more since Suzuki had revised the price which I did on 31st Jan. I checked with different dealerships in isb n booked from the one that committed the least delivery time. They told me that theyll deliver the car within Feb and my invoice will be generated in10 working days of booking. But now Everytime I check with them for the invoice/car they tell me that Suzuki has stopped Cultus ags production for the time being and they cannot commit a time line. The problem in my case is that I borrowed a car for month Feb from someone which I will have to return v soon and don't have any alternate. All I have is a payment receipt from that dealership, no invoice, no car. What are my options? Anyone linked with Suzuki here, Can guide if this is the normal process? Has Suzuki really stopped its production? Realistically when will I get the car? If not can I get my payment back somehow? Soon? What to expect? I don't have a delivery date committed in written just their word. Feb is about to end and thereare no signs of the invoice.

There should be a tentative delivery date on booking order form.
BTW I had similar experience, sales team promise to deliver in 1 month time with full payment but eventually they deliver after 3-4 months.
You may also log a complain against the dealership over Suzuki phone number.

I didn't get any booking order form, like I said only the payment receipt. Was I supposed to?

As @dms664 suggests cancel the booking. Since Suzuki claims that they have stopped production temporarily and not sure about delivery date. Why and how one can freeze Rs. 2m for indefinite time? If they don’t cancel or refund all money the I think consumer courts are way to go.

Don't tell me that you just went there and handed over the money

Yes I paid via a bank draft in paksuzuki's name.. got a receipt for that payment too. Only 10k (price revision was paid in cash).

Nothing is to be paid in cash, what does the receipt say? Is it a computerized receipt?

Well it's not computerized but filled with hand, stamped and signed afterwards from the dealership. It says this much amount has been received on this date from this person via this demand draft # this, this much cash on this date, for this car etc.

Didn't know about the booking order form, so I'll ask for a copy tomorrow inshaAllah.

You have to fill out a form regarding your booking, jotting down what colour and optional extras you want. They have to give you a computerized receipt, otherwise they haven't officially done anything
