Cultus AGS booking suspended

We have been told that the booking of Cultus AGS variant is suspended until next year. Please can anyone confirm?

i just spoke to Suzuki Danish Motors over phone 021 34557151 they said it is fake news over social media, we are entertaining bookings for every suzuki brand vehicle. However delivery times are highly variable due to exchange rate and govt policies review every 3 months. Time of delivery varies from 10 weeks to 16 weeks

Can anybody provide me any Suzuki dealership name in Islamabad or Rawalpindi who is taking Suzuki Cultus VXL AGS variant booking?

I have called 3 dealerships this morning and they are saying that booking for Suzuki Cultus VXL and Suzuki Cultus VXL AGS variant is suspended. There is a own of about 2.10 lac which I am not willing to pay.

Any help in the matter is highly appreciated.

Below is my personal experience

Dealership(Carachi Motors) Shrah Faisal.
Car booked Cultus AGS
Pay order submitted 6 Aug
PBO received 11 Aug (With tentative delivery mentions as 11 Oct)
Car dispatched from factory 2 Sept.
Car reached the dealership 3 Sept.
Car at home @ 4:30 pm on 3 sept 2021

So overall the request is served in less than 1 month.

I have no references with Dealership nor with PS.

While taking the delivery the sales manager confirmed that no booking available for any AGS car. May be in next month quota they can have some allocations for AGS.

A part from product quality PS has improved the commitment field, I hope that will reach the mark where cars will be readily available and customers will be served on walk in basis.

@ha_77 i suggest if you are not in hurry delay the booking for AGS variant of any Suzuki model.

Suzuki AGS has been troublesome and have plenty of end user complaints in past 1 year. Some of the units have been replaced by PS under warranty. I believe this could be 1 possible reason for suspension of AGS variant booking. There may be some improvising upgrade of AGS units before next production of auto variant roll out.

Thanks for the advice. I am down to 2 options Cultus AGS or Picanto Automatic. My first preference is Picanto Auto. Happy to go with Kia Picanto if booking is open and delivery is in reasonable time.

There is nothing wrong in AGS, it is the human adaptibility against the changes in routine.

Human mind resist to accept the changes, attributing to the fear of false impacts and drawbacks. Same is what happening in case of AGS. If we accept the change in routine there is no prob in AGS, its operation and maintenance.

yes it is suspended because of electrical components supply not in stock disturbing the J.I.T principal.

That's one of the dis-advantage of have assembly plant, rather then a manufacturing plant.

Sir, I booked Alto VXL AGS in August, and got PSMCL Booking form, showing October 2021 as the tentative delivery month.

Based on what you said, can we expect delivery of Alto VXL AGS as per the committed deadline or not?

Alto is going on time max another 2 - 3 weeks delay (in case) and you will get it -- keep your dealer/sales officer at pinn.

@KamranAslam I got a call from mandivalla motors, that your booking of cultus vxl is cancelled due to non availablity of parts. So i had two options either go for vxr variant or get your money back. So my question is if they are cancelling vxl variant orders how would they fullfill vxr variant in reasonable time.

Spares availability issue is with Cultus VXL and AGS variant. VXR spares are in stock and good to go on the assembly line for this VXR is available. I will advise to pick the VXR before the price raise part jumps in because the way our currency is loosing grounds every 45days it will be difficult for assemblers and govt to fill the promise.
