I am facing problem with my 2006 carby cultus that it starts very hard when its engine is hot. I am using only petrol. It starts very firmly when its engine is cold but in hot condition engine feels like very hard. sometimes it takes 2 ~ 3 attempts to start it.facing no issue while running.help required
is self okay? normally when the cars heat up then there's a great chance that self is the culprit, on the other hand also make sure the fuel pump is okay
Check ignition timing

seif and fuel pump are ok
is there any method to check ignition timing manually.as presently i m in remote area and its not possible for me to go to city
Check position of distributor, if its rotated clockwise then timing is advance whereas you need to retard it by anti clockwise movement. For accurate measurement timing gun is needed to set timing at 8 deg BTDC for petrol
this is the present position of distributor
its fully advanced.is your car ff cng?if yes then you need to bypass the advancer and then adjust the timing from the distributor
today i tried to adjust timing from distributor.when i rotated distributor anticlockwise tik tik sound increased and vibration also increased.means timing can't be changed in present senario
mechanic told me that "crank 100 pr hai. isko change krna pre ga. 25 pr set krva k"
please explain "crank 100 pr hai"
Timing can't be adjusted on hit and trail basis.you need a timing gun, remove the centrifugal advance and then adjust the timing and then adjust the engine idle
mechanic says that engine need head work and crank shaft need to replace.as crank is at 100.
what should i do
You need to check ignition timing first as advised by members above. Another issue could be weak spark plug wires.
