Cultus carby TVSV malfunction

Hi,
The thermal vacuum switching valve seems to be not working according to specs. It provides vacuum for controlling fast idle cam. Right now it seems to be only controlled by choke bimetal resulting in unnecessary operation of autochoke. I want to know does anyone has experienced failure of this TVSV and whats it called in desi mechanic terms. Online I couldn't find any reference for it.

According to service manual it's supposed to provide vacuum to control fast idle cam position when coolant temp exceeds 25C, but I've experienced it's not providing vacuum even when car is fully warmed up.input vacuum is ok. And when I provide vacuum to pod connected with idle cam it works fine as well.

I'm thinking it might not be bad but it's surface might have deposits preventing it to sense correct temp, but I want to be sure of replacement part before I remove it. I can find electrical VSV but not this one. I'll look around with this description, at least junkyards should have it

if you're sure that its faulty, easiest way to find it is to remove it (keep it as a sample - to show it to the shopkeepers) and goto scrapyard. new is N/A

you can also check it by heating its element and see if it opens/closes passage for vacuum as temperature rises or comes down

That's the point, I want to make sure replacement is available before removing it. It's definitely not working, maybe it's surface needs cleaning but I don't want to rush unnecessarily before I get replacement

That was not the query, besides Carby Cultus doesn't have egr valve. Cultus has two port TVSV valve (without egr)

Well i have attached two pictures one with egr and one without egr i know carby cars doesnt have an egr.

heat it up and it should allow vacuum movement after it reaches 35-40 celcius
