According to service manual it's supposed to provide vacuum to control fast idle cam position when coolant temp exceeds 25C, but I've experienced it's not providing vacuum even when car is fully warmed up.input vacuum is ok. And when I provide vacuum to pod connected with idle cam it works fine as well.
I'm thinking it might not be bad but it's surface might have deposits preventing it to sense correct temp, but I want to be sure of replacement part before I remove it. I can find electrical VSV but not this one. I'll look around with this description, at least junkyards should have it
