The car works flawlessly on cng but had momentory hiccups/jerks which came on coming up again and again. Showed to all mechanics and they all cleared my car saying its 100% ok. One said to show it to dealership and i took it to the oldest one in karachi and they are just simply a piece of..... They suggested to change so many parts that i am sure the bill would have crossed the price of car itself..showed to two big names in computerized tuning in khi and both again cleared my car saying that it is 100% fine and visit us when the issue surface again..they drove it for 3/4 km each but said all is 100% fine.. Discussed it various times on PW forums but noone had exact clue...
BUT the problem persisted and kept on coming occasionally..i was so frustrated that i started running it on petrol - but the mileage of cultus is so pathetic on petrol that i again switched to cng - cannot burn my hard earned money on high fuel bill..anyways, consulted my mechanics again, and other trusted persons with auto knowledge and they all suggested me to disconnect factory cng wiring and put in local cng wiring - bypassing the cng 'computer' forever... I did it finally today - car is behaving very fine now, no issues so far, infact car has gained more power..the stepper motor is replaced by manual T along with all factory connections..i have a liana too with same local setup (ff cng kit is thrown out too) and it is flawless on cng and needs nothing as maintenance...
I am prepared to get 5-10% lesser mileage on cng but atleast it will be peace of mind..kon bhagay ga in computer walon/,dealerships k peechay..
