Cultus efi radiator bubble + engine off issue

Dear Members,

i have cultus efi 07 and having some issue in its performance. please read below detail and guide me.

head-gasket had been replaced recently with head faced by hand (mechanic covered the 8m plan mirror with racmar and rub it on head until the head surface doesn't get plan & equal). Also the radiator was serviced at the same time. after the work done, i was still observing some bubbles in radiator but mechanic said that it isn't an issue & also advise to drive car on petrol without AC for at least 2 days and i did.

car was having issue of getting engine off when at low speed or neutral so i get it checked from suzuki 3S and they tuned it & also serviced the throttle body. after that car was very smooth on petrol but problem persists on CNG specially when i turned-on AC, rpm gets fluctuate & car gets off (only when car is at low speed or neutral).

original suzuki radiator cap was also replaced because the old desi one's rubber was cracked.

Today i do the radiator test. radiator is throwing water to reserving bottle but didn't sucking it back, secondly when i did start the car with radiator cap open, its generating too much bubbles. (may b car is getting off due to heat-up issue).

please help me out to dig out what the exactly issue is and whom one can get it resolved in better way in islamabad.

I think the head work was not done properly. Was the head opened while the engine was still hot. It is advisable not to drive/start engine for at least 10-12 hours before opening the head.

if there is no air trapped in the system then probably
the hand facing technique failed. it should have been done with proper machine
check car with AC/full load, ask mechanic to check if system is building pressure/access heat

setting on cng should be secondary issue right now

i hope he didnt remove thermostat valve and put the fan on direct

Please do some effort and locate thread in ' how to purge air from cooling system '
if thermostat valve is removed put it back, if cooling fans are running direct rig the wiring back to work on automatic.

a simple test
go to some radiator wala n ask him to remove the current radiator and try any other radiator,, now observe ur problem?? if still there then go ahead for some other solution

i'll go to Suzuki 3S and will ask to check thoroughly that eighter car is heating or what? to check thermostate valve & if there is any water leakage or air trap?
secondly last time suzuki mechanic also advise me to get CNG kit serviced which cost almost 1500. What do u think that CNG kit service will solve the problem.
One thing confusing me alot that car is running very smooth on petrol even there is no rpm fluctuation then why the system is problematic on CNG?
plz note that there is no stepper motor installed in it and as per suzuki mechanic, no need to install stepper motor, it isn't successful.

thermostat valve is equipped with jiggle valve or small hole to release the trapped air

engine off issue resolved after service of CNG kit but the bubbles & water reducing issue is still there.

does ur car over flow water from reservoir after heat up?
is ur car fan direct or auto?.

Head should be 'MACHINED' to perfection in order for the gasket to sit properly. Also get your hands on a workshop manual and read the max machining limit. Trace down the problem and air leak throughout the system.
Get a new mechanic as well.

I do have same issue with my new Alto back in 2008, i change radiator cap with new OEM and problem solved, mechanics told that bubbles from radiator and reduction of water is due to gaskit issue, and estimated 5-6k, but the suzuki 3s solved issue just by replacing radiator cap total costed me 500 something.

the cylinder head gasket surface should only be machined if it is warped, it should first be checked with a precision straight edge to verify - Im looking at a lot of threads where people say that its standard procedure, its not standard procedure.

If the mechanic removing the cylinder head does not loosen it in proper sequence it can warp the head whilst removal. In all cases the bolts should be checked for stretching before they are put back. This requires a machinist ruler and a magnifier glass.

Its good for the OP that the problem was resolved by just the cap. It is very easy to test the cap, you only need a jug of water as the expansion tank. when the engine heats up you should see it fill and as it cools you should see it suck back. This suck back function can be completely non existant if there is even a pin hole leak in the system. To find that pin hole leak you need to pressurize a cold system to 15 psi and check the gauge if it falls. if it does then find the leak, for that you can use a dye or even plain air, just drain the system and look for external leaks with soap or hear the leaks in the cylinders or the crankcase (confirming a HG leak)

That little overflow pipe is very important - if it has a pin hole leak or loose nipple etc. the expansion of water will take place but the suction effect of vacuum will then suck air from that pin hole (its lighter)
