this picture shown is how Suzuki Motors Japan and Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) painted this car, the dutch hem design doors this car uses have ridges on the window frames to accentuate the pieces that I highlighted to look as separate parts, It completes the look of the car to proper proportions. The paint you need is high gloss type - to blend with the shine of glass. Do not paint the sidemirrors white or they would look like cartoonish aftermarket add-ons after this.

Similarly the whole front of the car behind the bumper is supposed to be black, and many areas in the bumper are also supposed to be black. (this area calls for dull black paint.

The footboard is supposed to be taped from the top and the black undercoating then applied to it, this protects it from rust, rock damage etc and also gives the car a balanced look from front to back.

head lights are not original , they are after market and changes by the car's previous owner , taiwan made , today i check the price of new one , they cost 2200 Rs for a pair , last time i checked and it was 2600 Rs , may be some quality difference ,
beams are japanese but not OEM , the original one have a black rubber cover attached with it which protects the light against moisture , while here it is seperate , but these beams have good result ,

helo friends i installed fog lights in bumpers in my custom way , dont know how electricans do that but the guy from whome i buy these lights told me that there is no need to remove bumper for installing fog lights , dont know how they do that but i see many cultus cars with there fog lights out from there place , hanging out ,
you already seen the switch which i will use for these lights , and also the LEDs which will glow on dim lights , i will connect them directelly to the through a relay to , i see many electricans connect them with the head light high beam ,

i measure the exzact dimensions of monograms from another cultus which is genunine and all momograms are factory fitted , and then instal in this car with pin point accuracy ,

why did you illuminate both fog lights for the back?? and why are they wired up with the brakes??

the correct wiring is to connect them with the front fog lights, and only the right side should illuminate for RHD countries.

yes, now i remember i once saw a white one with this combination, the guy had even painted the stock wheel covers white with black spokes, surprisingly, it looked really good.

but i dont think i would look good on my light sky blue color.

the original cultus of the early 90s which is the original version of this car had this color combination I showed - those cars also had the checkered rear lights and margalla front lights.

helo friends , today i complete 2 jobs only , one is the door lock assembly service and second is the rear suspension overhaul which is not yet complete ,
you can service your door lock assembly very easily and i see a noticeable difference in opening and closing of door , sound is totally changed and its much smoother than before ,
frount and back door lock assembly opening is similar escept of few things ,
one is that you have to deattach the key lock lever as well , as you know there is no key option in back door
second is that you have to remove the mirror channel in frount doors , dont remove completely , no such thing in back doors

Its to warn other drivers that there a car up ahead in fog and it also marks the centre of the road position for them. you may notice the blinding glare it has compared to "brake lamps" You have already installed a fog light switch in your dash, just wire it to that and remove the LHS bulb.

The combination you have setup as brake lights is quite dangerous for the lights themselves in the corners, the lamps are not made to take continous heat of a 21W brake lamp, they are made to take a max of 10W continous heat (parking lamp), you only apply brakes momentarily to illuminate the brake 21W filament.

oh ic it resolved the mystery of y we see only 1 fog light mostly on the right hand side of some Japanese cars as they r right hand drive.

helo friends , here i will show you how to replace your cultus rear break shoes , its really very easy , replace them with a good quality , the genunine one are very expensive i guess but you can buy the one with brand name "MK" , they are copy of japanese , some shop keeper say that its japanese but i guess its all pakistani , any how they work good , you can replace your wheel studs and drum bearings as well , wheels studs cost 30 Rs each , and buy original breaings , chinese are just waste of time and money , dont attept to wash the break drum while its removed , may be you plan to gave them a black spray and want to wash them before that , but dont do , if you do so then you going to destroy its bearings , just simple clean them with a sand paper and spray it ,
if you want to replace your hand break wire then you have to remove the break shoes as well , i will later tell you how to replace hand break wire ,
and also if you want to remove the rear suspension then you have to remove the break shoes , will post that soon

here i will show you how to replace/remove cultus hand break wire , it has 2 seperate wires , one for each tyre , you have to remove the break drums and break shoes before removing the hand break wire and for that you can see my previous post in which i mention how to remove break drum and break shoes ,
and also you have to remove the floor pannel carpet , and also the console which covers the hand break lever ,
set the hand break lever stroke acordinglly , it can be adjusted with just one 10mm nut , see the pic for that ,

this point wont come in mind , luckily i havent installed the cables yet , tomorrow flush it with kerosene oil and then lubricate it with mobil oil , thanks for the correction ,

mix some petrol with grease and pour in, the petrol evaporates and the grease remains.. EASY.

anyway - did you knock out the inner bearing seals? you are supposed to remove them and fill the remaning cavity between the two bearings (where the spacer sits) 3/4 full with NLGI2 wheel bearing grease, the only seal on the bearings should be the innermost one and the outermost one, as this cars hub does not use a grease seal at the back and the hub nut washer is small. When you follow the correct procedure your bearings will work for ages. Make sure the grease cap goes on TIGHT - if it goes on easily it will leak grease.

Look at my thread for brake pad change of my Nissan, you will see Ive used some special brake purpose grease, this is available in Pakistan and is used on the backing plate, the pins at the bottom and the handbrake mechanism.

The autoadjuster should be free to spin - apply a very thin layer of antisieze on it. And apply the brake grease to the brake piston rubber cups - it prevents them from rusting solid if water gets there.
