helo friends , here i have overhaul the frount suspension , replace the CV joints as well , check the shocks condition and at the end clean and paint every thing ,
i got there CV joints in 1800 Rs (pair) with 3 months waranty , i guess they will work for atleast a year ,
dont change the shock rubber packing with out any reason even if they are not 100% perfect , because the local made wont last more than a month and original one is imposible to find escept in old parts store ,
here i have opened all the hydraulic lines as well , if your hydraulic system is all ok then dont do that , simply remove the piston and hang it with shock spring with a steel wire ,
dont open the control arm frequently, because the bolts which hold them goes inside the body , there nuts are welded in side the body and imposible to change without hiring a denter/welder , and i guess they become weak because of rust , i remember once i open the bolts of mehran's foundation and the end they wont go back , so i need to hand tap (moose) the bolt and use some bigger thread bolts on that ,
CV joints are some time very very hard to pull out from there rods , i take them to the machine shop and he pull it for me by clamping them with a wise , i dont have that luxuary and surelly you too dont have , he take just 100 Rs for that , very reasonable.
The gear which comes out will be very very thick especially in this cold weather , so before putting it back , you just put that container in which you collect it in open sun shine , the oil will warm up and become thin , then it will go easily , and also you need a small keef with a pipe attached on it to fill the oil back in ,
