Cultus engine oil

Hello everyone I am owning a cultus 2008 efi MashAllah perfect ride. I have been using it from 2 years now and always got it serviced from Suzuki motors. The issue is they charge too much for even a single thing. even if goes for regular checkup and oil change service the bill goes above 5k. So now I have decided to save money and switch its engine oil which was suzuki SGo genuine oil from day 1. and its been a company serviced car from 2008. I am satisfied with the engine oil however just need suggestions. What do u people say about Shell hx7 ultra?

Better just buy SGO premium (silver one) from paksuzuki and get its changed from outside mechanic

Based on experience. And a car with over 250k km with the crank and cam within company specifications i can safely say go for Micking 10W/40 Fully Synthetic with VIC oil filter. If u want u can push the oil change to 6000km+. It has worked for me. I have a 2007 Efi.

You can consider yourself lucky you have been running your car on oil that lacks amount of zddp your engine needs

Stick to SGO Premium..its very good for tappet cars

Downgrade to SGO premium...Ultimate is for advanced cars without tappet i.e. liana/swift

but suzuki motors have been pouring this oil.since 2 years. engine is still smooth as new.

wo ullu ke pathay hain, I even heard they discontinued SGO Premium at some 3s centers to promote Ultimate, they sell it to you as high mileage oil. only a few brands are making 10w40 oil in api sg/sj. Ask them to look at the schematic manuals of very car and tell if oils with lesser zddp are suitable

4liters of ultimate is of 2380...4liters of premium is of 1600...the principles of economics will always make the seller sell expensive item no matter if it kills the buyer - sorry but yehi chal raha hai dunya me..

Most of the suzuki dealerships donot keep that oil and say it is old school. Lolz they want to sale their SM which obviously is high in price and less in zinc and phosphorus.

its helping them even more, when engine has lot of wears due to that oil. they will earn even more by repairing at higher prices

Bhai karachi me suzuki genuine oil sirf us surat me mil sakta he ya to app wohin oil change karwaoo ya aapnay purchase karna he to gari register karwani ho gi or is ki file banaygi for future reference/history.

I will make sure to downgrade to premium. but aisa kch abhi tak feel nahi hua.
