Cultus Fuel Filter

Is it necessary to change suzuki cultus fuel filter, because i had a fuse issue with the fuel pump and i was told by the electrician that fuel pump is on its last legs.. the car is now 10 years old and has all genuine parts. I believe the issue is due to a clogged fuel filter and not the fuel pump itself & replacing the blocked fuel filter might relieve the strain on fuel pump to some extent.

I'm not even sure if there is a fuel filter in cultus but doesn't hurt to ask.
If you have done a similar service to your cultus please recommend a decent mechanic in lahore (johar town area) and est parts cost.

Suzuki recommends to change the fuel filter after 80k km or max 100k km. I changed it recently when my cultus clocked almost 90k, though i was not having issues but for safe side i did all the recommend replacements.

Bought the fuel filter from Auto Market that is near model town link road. If i remember it costed my nearly 550 to 650.

Though i got it replaced from my home town so can't recommend a mechanic here is lahore.

thanks, appreciate the response. My cultus clocked 105k now and i had w-pump, timing belt, radiator etc replaced according to the manual.. I'll get that done tomorrow hopefully since my last two visits to the suzuki dealership did not get the replacement fuel filter despite my expressed interest.

So the stealership quoted 2919.00PKR for fuel filter, and 6195.00PKR for Front(L) wheel bearing. and 850.00 labor for both.

Wheel bearing in market ok koyo japan is of around 1600..

Which radiator you purchased and price?

Thanks for the suggestion, i just purchased koyo bearing for 1200.00PKR from montgomery rd, Leppon fuel filter for 650.00 now need some decent mechanic to do the job..

I dont recall the exact price for the radiator as there were several other services and parts done under 100k maintainence, but it was somewhere around 5800-6200 iirc.
