oil level is fine. car is really kept with great care. It still has new smell inside plus it is genuine bumper to bumper. smoke is only for 5 secs at cold start up. rest of the day it is fine and silencer is inside is also very clean like of a new car. i ask mechanic about bad valve seals he said it is not possible. But what do you suggest if the problem is bad valve seals shall i fix it? how much cost? because pcv valve is fine.

Pcv valve never throws a puff of smoke, it continuously gives smoke. Stems seals are known for long interval standing of cars and while starting a puff of smoke.

What is the average cost to get it fixed. Car engine sounds like new. It's only 49k driven. It's hard to believe seals are worn out at this stage.

Around 10k total cost. And yeah hard to beleive but it is the case...

Everything will be dealt with care and we will ensure that the performance since have no measuring unit so we will do some tests, show you the old results and after doing the work we will again show you results to see that performance was never affected.

Your choice, nothing will happen if you delay it. Even if you drive this for 2 years. You just have to monitor oil levels, nothing more than that.

Any skilled mechanic can change valve stem seals without opening cylinder head. Its not more than Rs 2000-3000 job.

Any sensible mechanic can do it. Check youtube videos regarding rope method. You can search Baleno section too. One of Pakwheelers changed his Baleno valve stem seals from a mechanic with that rope method.
