Cultus gives white smoke on cold start (Help Required)

Asalam-o- Alaikum to all members
I have recently bought suzuki cultus about 2 weeks ago
2015 model and driven 45k .
Changed engine oil zix7 10w-40 along with air and oil filter.

1. Problem is my car is giving white smoke on cold start for about 5-10 seconds then it disappears and steam comes out along with water.
2. Smoke only comes if the car is at rest for more than 6 hours other wise no issue in pick or drive.
3. No reduction in oil or coolant till now.

I'm a new owner of car and hence do not have its previous details. Please guide me what could be the cause of it and how it can be fixed.

White smoke in winter morning is normal. Does it give smoke if you start in daytime too?

Also whats the price and avg of your car. Please share.

It only gives smoke on cold start whenever engine is at rest for about 6+ hours whether it is anytime of the day and lasts for only 5-10 sec and disappears and after the initial startup it doesnt give smoke but on first startup it does gives smoke.

avg is around 12-13 kmpl and purchased it in 9 lakhs.

It's condensed water coming out of the exhaust just like you breathe in cold weather. The water in the exhaust system is converted into steam and is blown out of your exhaust.

Iam pretty sure its not steam or condensed water because the smoke does not disappear and it gives a burning smell and again i have to clear it that it only give smoke for 5-10 sec and only on the first startup of the day whether its morning or anytime of the day.

Yesterday i got it checked from suzuki 3s central motors swan they said its normal but how its normal as i have previously owned mehran and swift they never give any kind of smoke.
then i took my car to local mechanic in national market for satisfaction and ustaad was saying that it might be weak valve seals or may be little weak rings.

Now iam more confused what should i do ???
Should i go for valve seals and how much will it cost ???

Dont go for valve/seals.

Get the silencer cleaned/service. Shouldn't cost more than 500.

Sorry to say but i didn't get the logic behind cleaning the silencer.
If you mean to say that silencer is dirty and carbon is stuck in it then it should continuously give smoke or on high revs but the car is only giving smoke on cold startup that too for 5 secs.

1st of all its hard to believe a 2015 model car to have only 45,000 kilometers on the odo, unless the car is in an exceptional condition. I am judging this, bcz I have cultus 2016 (bought it zero meter last year in july) & till date it has 45k kilometers on odo. And I never ever felt any smoke except that winter wali condensed smoke. So there is definitely some problem with your car.

And that white smoke for first 5-10 sec seems like weak piston rings. BTW which grade of engine oil you are using ?

Sir same thing is also messing in my mind as how come a 45k driven car can give smoke as i have swift also 2012 model 100000km+ on odo but still running strong no issue what so ever.
Secondly performance wise car is perfect regarding pick and drive on high speed also.
But smoke on cold start is confusing.

Well, if it's not steam then bad valve seals or bad Pcv valve i reckon..... Are you sure the meter is not tempered it something?

I can surely tell you that the previous owner was using 20w-50 in it. And I will suggest you to live with it, dont mess up with things until it is running fine.

And I will suggest you to live with it, dont mess up with things until it is running fine.

Doesn't it further deteriorate engine and its life ???

I will suggest you to give 20w-50 a try ! May be you feel any improvement. Otherwise get it checked by any reputable mechanic !
Or drive it until the smoke thing increase.

I am facing the same issue. Did u find a solution to it?? Blue smoke at cold start up for 4 5 secs. Then it is fine all day. Cultus 2015 model 50k driven genuine.. Oil used shell fully synthetic blue box. Suzuki ppl say it is normal but i doubt it. Can anyone help?

Switch to 10w40 oil. Make sure you're getting original oil.
Get total from daraz app if you can, or switch to zic.
Use original oil filter.

I ve changed the oil to shell 10w 40 yellow box hx6 new technology bought it from shell pump to make sure it's original. Chaned oil filter aswell. But the next day when i turned on the engine gave blueish smoke again for 4 to 5 sec and then it was fine. I am really upset as the car the brand new though it's 4 year old model. Then i went to a local mechanic. I asked him if there was a chance of leaked valve seals but he said it is not possible as the car is in almoat new condition with less miles odo... Then he checked two pipes. One attached to inglet and the other attached to air filter. He then said pcv valve might be bad. He then put a tissue at the end of the pipe with pcv valve and said drive it for some time and then check tomorrow and let me know. I hope it's gone tomorrow. It has caused me alot if tension
